Hey B4M,
We drove from Canada to see them for the 3rd time this tour (would've been 4th if not for some decapitaton mishap on a Greyhound bus that thwarted our Winnipeg concert) ...

Anyway, couldn't agree more with regard to The Pearl, at The Palms.  We stayed there as well.  Man, it was awesome!  Greatest fans, ever.  Might have had a lot to do with the fact we all wandered around the lobby & bars aftereards and could recognize each other by the black t-shirts, long hair and studded leather.  Just like the party never ended.

We would go back, for sure.  Our first time in Vegas, and we had a splendid freakin' time...

PS -- get a Jr. Suite...

I would merely like to request a tour which would involve music from Stained Class, Demolition, Jugulator, and Rob's solo work from the Halford cd's thrown into the mix.  It might sound just a little crazy but so what.. Great singing Ripper done by Rob and great music from Rob's solo work done by Priest, think of the potential.

Ausie Man:

Who the fuck goes into a mosh pit for Priest? I've seen JP 35 times since 1980 and I have never witnessed a mosh pit during Priest. Were you guys slammin into each other during Angel too? Maybe I missed it or maybe I not immature enough for that thing, but quite honestly Priest has never been about a mosh pit. Am I missing something (not)? IMO: Take the moshing to your next ICP or Avenged Sevenfold show and leaving your moshing at home when going to a Priest gig, mate!

Hello.  Alot of y'all probably know me from the Quorum.  Finally made it over here.  For those who don't know me, I'm a 37 female from Beeville, Tx.  Been a Priest fan for over 25 years.  Also love the bands Iron Maiden & Alice in Chains.  Favorite NFL team: DALLAS COWBOYS.
[aussie dead man toad] Thursday, September 11, 2008 5:14:54 AM
the aussie dead man was at the first australian gig priest did at the brisbane entertainment center and wow man it was fan tastic except for the dam opening band what a big mistake the band was more of a load of garbage not in the least bit heavy metal more soft grunge the crowd was ready to rush the stage if they kept singing 5 songs was more than they deserveed then electric mary came on now that is a dam good band can't help fealing ive seen some of that band in other groups at some stage hell they got the crowed all fired up for the metal god to come on and right frome the start priest kicked ass altough some elements in the crowed should have just kept theire mouths shut and left well enough alnoe the rest of us just moshed it in the pit the mesiaha of metal marvellous marc and the aussie dead man toad sang every dam song we were surprised though that they did leave out some of the priest clasics but hell who cares we got the full priest experience rob and the boys gave it therir all and at the end rob did look like a roast chicken in the light i can honestly say from the bruise brothers ( toad & marc ) thank you rob for the experience of our lifes and we do recomend everyone go see the boys

If any of you get a chance go see a show at the Pearl at the palms in Vegas you should do it !!!. We saw Priest at this awesome Sin City venue and were nearly as impressed with the place itself as we were with the ass kicking jams the guys delivered. I'd be willing to bet this was the best show they did on the entire tour !!! Get to this place if you can.

We drove to Vegas to see the show and as always the Metal Gods successfully defended their Heavy Metal throne. Love the new album, wish they played more of it at the show as well as some other tunes but Priest just has too much good stuff to roll it all out in one show. Does anyone know of plans to play the entire Nostradamus CD in one show on the next tour? Thanks in advance for any replies. Keep defending the faith metal maniacs !!!

The review I read was that during the storm they kept on playing. The song was Devil's Child.

I want to say at the start that I absolutely luv Judas Priest no questions asked but I am also a very honest person. I went to the show in Phoenix on Thursday night and I have to say that in all the times I've seen them this was by far the least impressive. Maybe because he's aging or because they're tired but I was disappointed nonetheless. This doesnt mean they sucked, it just wasn't Priest the way I expect them to be. Also they cut the show short, because of an approaching storm believe it or not, and they didn't wind up playing Sinner or Death, which has been on the posted playlists. considering that this is his, "hometown",  I was actually expecting a longer show than most. Thats what happened when I saw Van Halen years ago in L.A. They played for 2 and a half hours! this show was an hour and 15 minutes  Lol!!! Keep on rockin Priest fans, hope you have better luck.

P.S. If someone from the bands inner circle reads this I'm not hating at all! Just if at the end of their tour they want to do a MAKEUP gig in the spring i'm sure that would be welcomed!!!!!!!!

[tasnam1] Friday, August 29, 2008 7:20:22 PM
I hate to break the news to you, but from my understanding (someone correct me please) Judas had never played the Hellion live.  They have always used a recording.

Sorry for the news...This is business and like the Olympics they must feel it is to important to get it right and not worth messing up.

Honestly that should NOT change your view of them.   That in itself is not a hugh thing.
