| @headbanger not that the 4 horsemen were in the books but that the book made me interested in finding out what they were |

I thought in the books death had 4 handmaidens and War was a separate incarnation. darn, just read one of them, will have to get out the pale horse and read it.

HAAAA! You are reaching. You didn't say that Famine was the missing song nor did you identify the proper icon on the horse.
So...um...how was that not completely wrong? lol
ps. NO SOUP FOR YOU!

So famine was right. Just did not get the right color of the horsey. Not completely wrong.

Acolyte hit them all perfectly. Color of the horses is a dead-giveaway. Famine isn't a song on Nostra but is the third horseman. "Death" is #4 (always has his scythe and rides a pale horse); War has the battlaxe and rides a red horse, FAMINE isn't represented by a song but holds a balance as food was rationed; plus he rides the black horse and the typical iconography is plague on the white horse shooting down victims with an arrow. THAT is the only contested one as the white horse also symbolizes Conquest. Either way, he is covered by a Nostra title.
Famine was the answer. Acolyte nailed it obviously ignoring the "4 Horsemen" by Metallica. "Time" didn't play into the picture at all.

| famine, it is war, pestilence and plague and death on the nostradamus album |

Personally, I never really got who or what Horseman #1 was. "Conquest" isn't one of the Four Horsemen as far as I know without cheating, but he has his own song and page in the Nostra book. He also doesn't seem to represent someone suffering from famine, although there's no way to know if he is since he's covered in armor. At least Pestilence looks like he has some sort of sickness/decay and whatnot. Or maybe THAT'S Famine, since he's also extremely thin?

I was just thinking about this question. Unfair to both ask people to recall the image and name them. So, reading left (I'll call horse 1) to right (horse 4), both your answers are wrong.
(edit...reading the other direction the answers would have been wrong as well! LOL! Thanks for playing).

Now then, not being like the CHEATER below, who can name the following without looking it up?
As I was taking in my Nostra "4 Horsemen" poster for framing yesterday, it hit me that only three of the four are represented as actual songs in Nostra. Which of the four is left out? If you can't name BY MEMORY which was left out, at least name the ones that are in there. For extra-credit, which horserider represents the traditional views of the 4 Horsemen?
