I really think it's a "builder track". Like Hell Patrol which sits between Painkiller and All Guns Blazing, I think this track is a transition track between two in your face heavy metal tracks. I really like the song as is..... but on the album itself I am sure it will sound freaking bad ass just like Hell Patrol.

If you want Painkiller heres the link on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Painkiller-Judas-Priest/dp/B0000630BT! I just want a classic heavy metal album.....
[icecreamman] Monday, November 04, 2013 3:55:52 PM
Fully agree J.D.! Painkiller is a wonderful album but it's not their only masterpiece. I can almost gurantee this album will be it folks, this for sure will be the final album. I just can't see this band making another album in 2018. As far the sound of the new album goes I will be looking for some great old school heavy metal, not really based off another album. This is a new line up and JP will alter their sound somewhat....
Well said HB. It actually grinds my gears how people think Iron Maiden changed things and were revolutionary blah blah - if you look back they came along at the right time with the right sound. Priest brought the metal to heavy metal years before Maiden decided to join the fun.

I was on facebook and I went to a bandsite of an obscure band that I like.
I saw where someone had posted a video of either their band or a band they like that they want everyone to check out.
Then I went to Judas Priest's page
and there was the same video. Is it possible that this person could be a fan of "both" bands?(lol)
Yeah I know, probably just spamming everyone but the same video on both sites kind of surprised me. I mean no-one
in their right mind would like both of these bands right?
I have been posting up here for five years now, amd I complain very little. Yes I am only 22, but I have been a Priest fan for the great majority of my life. I own all the Priest DVD's, VHS's, and albums. I have supported this band for years, and I couldn't be any happier about new material! DO NOT SAY I HAVE BEEN UNFAITHFUL TO JUDAS PRIEST!
Guys you proved me wrong, and I am very happy about it! Sorry for being unfaithful! Metal Gods have mercy upon me! Ha ha, ah yes I am pumped for this album!
OH MY GOD! IT IS COMING! FINNALLY SOME NEWS! BLU-RAY! THEY HAVE ARRIVED IN THE 2013! ....... now HELLRIDER blow up the forum again! IT IS TIME!!!!!!!!!

You know what.... We will have a need Defenders of the Faith 30th Anniversery remaster before we get a new album. Hell, we may have the Painkiller Anniversery album before then!
[icecreamman] Friday, January 18, 2013 10:33:35 AM
I am to the point were I believe there is no new album..... I am starting to believe they are done period. Priest are still my favorite band but..... things have been down lately.
So with the tour done... what now? Could their be a chance we get the album the year? Yeah I know its unlikely, but its possible. Who knows right. We could get it 5 years now!

There are tons of combinations that will make me happy, its " YOU AND HELLRIDER" are the ones who are counting on this LP to be one way, screaming guitars and screaming vocals. If they write a track like Desert Plains or Pain And Pleasure you both will cry like babies. Its the two of YOU that are stacking up the odds against a perfect Painkiller album.
I never said it will 100% definately be one way or the other,go back and read my posts. If you and Hellrider actually do like this new album I will be utterly shocked, utterly "shocked". This new album will be for fans like myself,Guido, spapad,Head Banger,HRMG,Becks,Vail, and other elite members here,I'm sure we will like the majority of the new album,at least 8 songs out of 10 I figure.

During all the years I am registered on this page i was following the news and discussions but
i did not post here since some years because i don´t understand some comments of so called “Fans”.
Why can´t some people accept the decisions of some band members ?
I also was shocked when I read this message because I also
think that Glenn and K.K. have been an unique guitar duo.
All album arrangements and great solo combinations, the unique and
the distinctively Priest sound are the result of this combination.
You are right when you say that Priest is not the same without K.K.
But: It is Kenneth´s life and it´s Kenneth´s decision to retire, not yours.
When I am unhappy with any situation, I try to change it.
Otherwise I can´t look in the mirror, so I respect his decision.
And: Ritchie is not K.K. , but he´s doing a great job.
I was also disappointed, when Rob left the Band, but Ripper was also
doing a great job and kept Priest alive.
There are so many discussions in this board I don’t understand.
About good or bad albums
I am 41 years old and a die-hard Priest fan since I was 12 years old !!!
And why ?
Because I see a development in the music from priest on every new album.
Every album is completely different to the other, but ever distinctive Priest.
I think one reason for this is, that Priest is not releasing a new album every 1 or to years. Mostly there was a long time between 2 Albums, a creative break.
When people say that RAM IT DOWN has been a bad move, or TURBO
has been only a commercial production I start laughing.
I am also a guitar player and maybe I see this from a different angle.
Turbo and Ram it down are great elaborated recordings.
And: Nostradamus was a Priest masterpiece with absolutely perfect arrangements.
Maybe some people were disappointed, for me as a musician it is great.
In Glenn´s solo albums I see the same.
It is logical that this doesn´t sound as Priest and
i am sure he did´nt do this to make money.
He did it to realize some own ideas and that´s right.
And Rob has realized his own ideas when he started a solo career.
I am very disappointed that this is the last tour because the guys
are over 60 years old, but they still have a lot of power and they
definitely don´t make a fool of themselves on stage.
And I am fully sad, that I am not able to see them on the last tour
because there were only 2 concerts in Germany, but far away from me.
I wishfully had the hope, to see them one final time in Frankfurt or Offenbach
and maybe to meet the guys backstage one more final time.
In 1997 I had this great honour to meet them for a sort moment to get my
Guitar signed by the band.
My greatest wish ever was to spend one day with them in their studio.
Maybe, I have this chance anytime when I visit London again.
For me, Priest was and still is a constant companion in my life.
So I am also sad about some changes but on the other side I am
more happy that Priest still is alive.
Do you think they are planning a new album because they need the money ?
I think they do it because they still love to make music and to be creative.

If you're selling tickets for the FINAL tour of AC/DC, you'd expect Angus to be there. If you're selling tickets for the FINAL Iron Maiden tour, you would expect Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson to be there. The list goes on - the point being that I have bought tickets for something that turns out to be something else than what was ADVERTISED.
Every single person who bought a ticket, should be given a refund and an apology. Not some stupid management-statement about what a "great show" it will be.
Don't get me wrong - the issue is not that K.K is leaving, it's not a catastrophy that there's a new dude playing guitar - I mean, for god's sake, we survived the Ripper-era!
And I don't think any less of Glenn, Rob, Ian and Scott as musicians or members of Judas Priest.
NONE OF THAT is "the problem". The problem is announcing K.K's departure a month before the European summer-tour, when it's too late to cancel flights, rental cars, hotels and concert tickets! MAYBE I wanted the opportunity to make up my own mind whether or not I wanted to see this "alternative Priest".
I wasn't given that chance. I feel like an idiot for having been PLAYED this way, tricked into buying tickets to something that is not what I expected to see.
You wouldn't be okay if you paid for a Mercedes and someone delivered a Fiat to you door either.
People can say whatever they want, I think this was dishonest - and it doesn't really matter if it's K.K's fault, or Judas Priest's fault or the management's fault. The fact remains - I've taken vacation days and spent a lot of money on something that is not what it was being advertised as.
Sorry - but in my book, that's wrong.

Guys remember it is all done now! There is nothing you can do about it! It is times like these when we really see who loves Priest! I would spend hundreds of dollars to see Priest with or without my favorite guitarist! It was KK's playing that got me into guitar, and I am fully supportive of Judas Priest! Rob, Glenn, Ian, and Scott all need our support! So quit complaning, and get ready for an awesome show! Listen to Glenns solo albums, listen to Robs; I am sure they can pull off a album and tour together. Judas Priest is not a single person, it is an entity on its own. KK, you know I will always love you! Would beg you on my knees to come back! But if no, I must look forward to something positive coming from this.
Make it 19 -5 JD! Saxon are better than ever while Maiden have really fizzed out, the Final Frontier was okay, but okay does not cut it. I am still waiting on a Saxon/Judas Priest U.S. Tour!
Yep thats the way it was here in the states too Rik. Maiden didn't so much sell out to a wider audience as you know but thier song writting starting from 1990's poor quality album "No Prayer For The Dying" all the way till 2010's poor quality album The Final Frontier has sucked BIG TIME. from 1990 to 2010 they wrote 8 studio albums and only 1 of them are decent"A Matter Of Life And Death". Brave New World only has 4 songs that are worth a shit, the other 6 songs suck balls.
Saxon sold out big time, but had come back full circle and proved themselves to the metal world they are quality british heavy metal and have been for 16 years.
The Maiden fanboy created this thread 5 months ago thinking that everybody would be flocking towards Maiden and posting Maiden over Saxon, but this back fired on his ass big time with Saxon grabbing 17 votes and with Maiden only grabbing 5 votes over 5 months. That shows how lame Iron Maiden really is these last 20 years. Pretty sad when a band has to live off the early 1980's for fan's opinions here in 2011,absolutely "sad".
Hey Maiden fanboy.....17 to 5 Saxon is kicking your lame band's ass these last 16 years and counting HAHA!!! Keep living in the 80's haha!!!

The two magazines here which had traditionally flown the flag for metal became full of bands which had no business being in there in my opinion, chilli peppers, Faith no more, grunge bands etc etc', it got virtually no radio air time either, and traditional metal was pushed out & poked fun at or portrayed as old hat. Only bands like Metallica or Guns & roses (another band living off the sale of one album) seemed to be spared the rod. Saxon were often treated with little respect, but they stuck to their guns like Motorhead, Priest and the likes, and they rode out the storm while other bands either fell by the wayside or tried to appeal to a wider audience. If Priest were to take what worked best on British Steel, Defenders of the Faith, and Painkiller; and worked off that we could have a great metal album. At least we know there will be a new album. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Saturday, April 23, 2011 10:39:23 AM)

Yes,I really think Rob and Glenn can come up with something excellent, but no it will not top 6 of thier LPs. I like the Hell Bent For Leather album for example, there are 4 tracks on the album I've never like after all these years : Take On The World,Burnin' Up,Before The Dawn and Evil Fantasies.
This being said in my opinion the new album could be better than Hell Bent For Leather,it won't be able to top the "song Hell Bent For Leather" but I can see it topping the album over all if the song writting quality is there. Before K.K. left and if he would of been on this next album then it wouldn't of bothered me for them to put one song like "Worth Fighting For" on the new album if done right, but now K.K. is gone I feel every track must be something heavy, either like All Guns Blazing or Bloodstone,or even Grinder or melodic like Between The Hammer & The Anvil and Hellrider the song.
Something like this so there is a mix of sounds, melody but heavy as hell like the Painkiller album has the heavy theme instead of anything "Nostradamus " related.

There still is a part of me that is glad K.K. is out of the band because he was holding down Rob,Glenn and Ian from making another album,or an album that was not going to be a heavy metal masterpiece, that being said this makes me still crave a new album from this band, but I do see why your opinion is this way,I fully understand but I'm siding in with Hellrider with keeping the faith for this next album,it might shock us all who knows.

Sure this still sucks, but I think this new album will be better than the Ripper albums,Rob Glenn and Ian are still here, thats all that matters to me.Again,if the new album is terrible then that will be the day the music will die for me.
Rob Glenn and Ian I'm sure are aware of this and they may try to muster up one of the best albums of all time which could put this album up next to classics like Painkiller,ect....no not as good but it could be close...
Angel Of Retribution wasn't as good as Painkiller or Defenders,Screaming,British Steel or Sad Wings but it rates in at #6 for me personally...this new album could rate in at #6 and knock Retribution down a notch to # 7 with the new album at #6....that would be one hell of an acomplishment, this is why I still have faith in this new album.

Same situation as with Priest wtih Ripper. You can get someone who can do all the ranges of voice but if the new lyrics are not there, and the heart is not there, it's not going to impress anyone.
On the gay thing, I knew he was gay long ago. It made no difference to me then, it makes zero difference now. I loved him, and I still love him, and always will. That's Southern speak that they think Judas Priest is just him. Ignorant talk.

I believe many of us will support Priest until the end. We may sound selfish, but Priest fans seem to be a loyal bunch. As for me, I know I will be there when all is said and done. I actually shed a tear today listening to Rock Hard Ride Free. I felt like a little girl, but hey, this is my favorite band. Without Priest I wouldn't be the musician I am now. I owe them my loyalty, hence their music has given my life much joy. I will be forever grateful for the good and the bad, because at least we still have the world's greatest heavy metal band. But we must go on. KK wants us to support the band and I'm sure they have found someone more than up to the job and works simpatico with Glenn. We all fell away when Ripper replaced Rob, because the lyrics and voice was not what we wanted, (we are a brutal judging bunch), and it was not a good separation back then. Not that it ever is for us fans.
I'll be out there supporting them. They are still MY band, I will miss KK tremendously, and might even cry, but I'll be there showing my love of my ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND.

Look man I love Nostradamus, but I am not going to say Demolition is bad either. Both are really great. If only Demolition wasn't plagued by bad lyrics. Nostradamus was great, but I don't want another album like it. I think it caught everyone off guard after AOR. I believe AOR would have been a masterpiece if it wasn't for Roy Z's bad production. It sounds like a Halford album at times. As for the next album, I say let Tom Allom produce it, and make it heavy as hell.
Demolition destroys Nostradamus.
I'm listening to "One on One" as I'm writing this. People always talk about wanting
"Metal". This album is "Metal"
If K.K. had the keys for Nostradamus and Glenn had them for Demolition then let Glenn
do the driving. At least this album is heavy. Do people hate Ripper so bad that they fail
to hear how heavy this album is? To me it's laughable.I like Ripper and I'm glad he
kept Priest going. He's no Rob and I'll never say he is but I don't think they could have
found "anyone" to "fill in" as well as he did. We should be grateful for him.

JUDAS PRIEST Drummer: The Fans Want Us To Go On (Video) - Apr. 21, 2011
The Artisan News Service conducted a short interview with JUDASPRIEST drummer Scott Travis at the third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which took place last night (Wednesday, April 20) at Club Nokia in downtown LosAngeles, California. When asked for an update on the just-announced departure of the band's original guitarist, K.K. Downing, Travis replied, "The update is in the press release [which came out Wednesday morning], so you know as much as I do. But you have to have the burning desire in your heart, in my opinion, to play heavymetal music."
He added, "We all start at a young age and it's not because of money, fame or girls — you start because you love the music. So if he's not feeling that anymore, then I give him props for taking himself out of the game, basically."
When asked about the remaining JUDAS PREST members' decision to go ahead with their previously announced tour plans with a replacement guitarist — 31 year-old British guitar player Richie Faulkner (LAUREN HARRIS, DIRTY DEEDS) — Travis said, "It's never an easy decision to replace any longtime bandmember, but PRIEST is almost like its own machine, and the fans want PRIEST to continue, we want it to continue, and we have to go on. K.K.… I can't speak for him, but we have to go on; that's all."
Downing released a statement earlier today blaming his departure from JUDAS PRIEST on "an ongoing breakdown in working relationship between myself, elements of the band, and the band's management for some time." He added that he "decided to step down rather than to tour with negative sentiments as I feel that this would be a deception to . . . our cherished fans."

At last, I'm glad they are all gentlemen and no one is throwing words at each other this time. Sad resolve for all of us.

It is with much regret that I will not be with you this summer. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your concerns about my health. Please rest assured that I am O.K.
There has been an ongoing breakdown in working relationship between myself, elements of the band, and the band's management for some time.
Therefore I have decided to step down rather than to tour with negative sentiments as I feel that this would be a deception to you, our cherished fans.
However I would urge you to please support the Priest as I have no doubt that it will be a show not to be missed.
All my love and respect,

Now then. Time for some Metal Blah.
In light of the recent bad news, the big question now is:
Who will go see Judas Priest (without KK) perform live in their last ever world tour? Would anyone be willing to? As crappy as this question sounds, apparently the rest of the band wants to go on ahead with "all guns blazing" and with the new guy in tow. At least one thing is certain--a new album will come out next year. Here's hoping that KK helped in creating at least some of it (one SONG, at least).
Personally, I will go see them, at least to say goodbye to Glenn, Rob, Ian, and Scott, and give the new guy a chance. At least he won't be a permanent fixture, considering the rest of the band will be done soon. Still...this all blows. An explanation is needed, and fast.
No, it would sound to much like Halford. Halford is a band on their own. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by bov1 from Thursday, April 21, 2011 12:44:47 AM)

Future of Mankind is fantastic! One of my favorites off Nostradamus! Really heavy riffs and the solos are incredible. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by JT_Small_Deadly_Space from Friday, January 28, 2011 7:44:50 AM)

Yeah with Nostradamus it's not an album I can slap on and listen to all of the way through even though that is how I first listened to it because I was told that is how it should be listened to.
Now if I put it on I skip the preludes and some main tracks unless it's the couple I really really like and there are some.
The tracks I listen to always: Dawn of Creation/ Prophecy (together it has to be done), Revelations, Death, Pestilence and Plague, Peace/ Conquest, Persecution, Solitude, Alone, Visions, Nostradamus, Future of Mankind.
For me that would have done it, that would have passed as a good solid metal album to me as they are pretty strong tracks in my eyes.
I'm surprised that Future of Mankind is so overlooked by people it's a really underated track with some really heavy riffs and a perfectly written chorus even on Rob's standards it breaks the mould.
But anyways on topic now, to me this is the best news in the world the thought of Priest writing another fantastic heavy metal album is all the motivation I need. I would even settle for something along the lines of Angel of Retribution because to me that was a cracking album. Not one bad song on it not even Loch-Ness I bloody love that song, so heavy.
So yeah all they need to do is up their game again and restore freedom to Scott Travis's phenominal drumming because the drummng on Painkiller and especially Jugulator was jaw dropping and on Nostradamus it was too basic for my liking. The thing is Rob has a good way of tip toeing round things. He still hasn't said the band is splitting up. He never gives a definite answer like 'yes the band are splitting and there will be no more music or touring'. 'All good things come to an end' but this is still a miscellaneous response, he could simply be talking about touring, who knows. I do now question the validity of that article on Rock AAA though.

O my god!!!
2011 the last Judas Priest world tour???
I just can’t believe this!!!
Why you gaved us this news already, why such suddently and why now on Christmas???
Please do some to change your minds and not dessapear at all yet,the old fans will miss you,the new ones still need you,so please don’t do that cause to live without you is almost impossible and to replace you with others,is really impossible.
Without you,Judas Priest,or without Halford and Fight, died a half of
my heart, and when Rob will not be anymore, will die all my heart entirely.
Also, any you decided or any you will re-decide in time…
I love you and I will always love you my soul band!!!
1.Why that news already, why such suddently and why now on Christmas?
For me and for most many fans, this news is the most sadly news I ever heard related to my soul band ,and the most sadly thing is that is not just a rumour but is a true thing as far as these news already appears in your official site ,and on My space and Facebook too, etc.
I admit that I knew that news will come one day, cause is some normal at your age and after more than 30 years of musical carrer,in which the music was for your only reason to live, your only way to offer your fans all what they need from albums to live shows, things from the reason which the roads were your only homes, which always separated you by close people, parents, families, and friends,so for all these, was to expect as you to stop your live activity, but I admit I never though that news will come so soon, and so suddenly, and in special now on Christmas without to prepare us the fans from time, that way maked me to wonder if there out is other reason for which you stopped your live activity now or if this way to do the things is just a tipicaly british way.
I also hope that with the help of your fan support,to change your minds in time and to still continue to enjoy us with your live activity,at least 2 or 3 years from now, that even if your activity will not be such full like until now, meaning with such many shows per year, how was until now from 2 in 2 days ,or 3 in 3 days, will be ok just some shows per year, and even if a show will not during so much, how was until now with shows for
2 hours or 1 hour, will be ok just a show of some 25-30 minutes, just to see you,but if also you will not change your minds,I hope that you will continue at least with your studio activity, even I always image that you will put all Nostradamus album on stage, like a oper, how is The Wall of Roger Water, from the legendary Pink Floyd(my favorite opera),so hope you will enjoy us the fans at least with new albums and maybe some Dvd-s with some of your old images from your carrer, and maybe with a authentical book about your entire music history, and why not with some contests to fans, from which you will can give the fans the chance to win autographs from you,or some musical gifts from you, such as posters,or magazines, like souvenirs, any, just to know that you are still there, and alive.
2.Why with that news you bring just the most knows countries in Europe?
For me and for the most many fans, the news of the presentation of just these countries in your list, is also one of the most sadly, cause in this way exist the possibility like any of us to see you last time,or other first time, but worst, other at all ever.
I admit that I knew that my country will not be in the first list of your countries, cause you discovered us so late, and you came to us just ones and almost over
your 30 years of carrer, but I admit I never though that show you gaved us Romanians,in 2008,on 11 july,in Bucharest,at Best Fest Aftershock, will be the last but also I am thanksfully to God cause he gaved me the inspiration to go there to your show and the power to do all that sacrificies to arrive at your show, such as to throught out my last job for you,to rent money for travel, and car,etc and now to no have any regret for what I done then, cause you gaved the honour to come to us,and to bring us 2 hours of unique show,in which you enjoy us with your voice and your instrumental abilites, with your beautiful songs, and your cool stage changes, but first with your simple way to be,to speak with us,to treat us and to get down to us the fans from your celebrity status, like we was equals.
I also hope that you will include my country in your actual Europe list too, otherwise, for me ,and for many other fans, will be almost impossible to attend, and for me will definetly be,cause even if it’s a shame, but still living in a poor country with a hard history which was about more than 50 years of communism and humility and restrictions for us,the humanity, and from which we didn’t recover yet even if we are a liberal country now,but also still with bad leading system, bad laws and bad economy where the most small salary ,is the most small from UE,and is about 150-200euros/mouth,and also being without my own family, meaning without husband and kids to support me,without a job actually and
without the chance to get one now with this crisis, and still living with my parents, with a sick mother and a unemployed father, and an very old grandmother about almost 90 years old,so living just from their small contribution from state, money from which we must to save mounthy, for food, for utilities, for owns in bank, for medications, etc will be almost impossible to save some to attend to these countries of the tour, with all the travels taxes and the ticket, and if you will not introduce other countries in Europe, than mines, etc to can see you, then when you will introduce the other parts of your 2011 tour which probably will be one for USA,and one for Japan, well, definnetly for me,will be really impossible to attend, and all these are not a complain but a reality in which I think most many fans are,but I still hope you will try to introduce my country in your tour list, and other countries too, where you wasn’t ever or where you have owns.
3.Why with that news you forced us to do our inventary already?
For me and for the most many fans that news, put us to do our inventory related to our memories with you which we accumulate until now, such as how many of your music we bought, how many of your live shows we saw, etc.
I admit I knew that doing my own inventory I will be very very sad cause I discovered you such late, just now 4 years ago, and I didn’t succed to have all your original music long time, but I am proud today I already have this entirely, and because I discovered you
so late,I neither succed to attend to many of your shows, but I am proud that I attend to your first show in my country, and finnaly because I discovered you so late, I didn’t’ succed to meet Rob Halford, personally,to salute him,to do a photo with him,and take an autograph, but I am proud that I got one from Scott Travis, and because I discovered you so late I didn’t get the chance to fight for arriving to collaborate with you,or work for you.,but also, even if I discovered you so late, also I am very proud that I was one of your lucky fans which got the honour to keep a short corespondence with Miss.Jayne ,your
manager, with mr.Mark ,your art editor, and with Mr.Murray, your webmaster, people which passed my correspondence to the band and to Rob,and more than this,I am proud that I dedicated all my net pages to the band, and to Rob,and I will continue to fight for your induction and Rob into Rock Roll Hall of Fame and for bring you a star on Walk of Fame, and maybe a petition for your returning.
I also hope, even if you will retry, that you Halford band with still continue your live activity at least another some years, and will enjoy us with your tours, your new albums, and Dvd-es,and maybe a book, and maybe you will thing to come to Romania too, even in my city Arad,at our Rock on Mures festival, where I hope I will finnaly can meet you Rob Halford, salute you,do a photo with you, take and autograpg from you,and who knows, maybe to talk about a collaboration or work for you,all these before I will give you my sorries for what I said and I done related to you.
Conclusion:
I still cant' belive this news, but unfortunately is a true news!
But you Judas Priest shouldn’t gaved us this news already, and not such suddenly and not
now on Christmas!
Please do some,to change your minds and not desspear at all yet,the old fans will miss you,the new ones still need you,so please don’t do that cause to live without you is almost impossible and to replace with others,is really impossible.

so late,I neither succed to attend to many of your shows, but I am proud that I attend to your first show in my country, and finnaly because I discovered you so late, I didn’t’ succed to meet Rob Halford, personally,to salute him,to do a photo with him,and take an autograph, but I am proud that I got one from Scott Travis, and because I discovered you so late I didn’t get the chance to fight for arriving to collaborate with you,or work for you.,but also, even if I discovered you so late, also I am very proud that I was one of your lucky fans which got the honour to keep a short corespondence with Miss.Jayne ,your
manager, with mr.Mark ,your art editor, and with Mr.Murray, your webmaster, people which passed my correspondence to the band and to Rob,and more than this,I am proud that I dedicated all my net pages to the band, and to Rob,and I will continue to fight for your induction and Rob into Rock Roll Hall of Fame and for bring you a star on Walk of Fame, and maybe a petition for your returning.
Without you,Judas Priest,or without Halford and Fight, died a half of
my heart, and when Rob will not be anymore, will die all my heart entirely.
Also, any you decided or any you will re-decide in time…
I love you and I will always love you my soul band!!!

I cant beleive this is happening! I read the news last night and slept on it so i wouldn't bitch about it like a lot of us. I feel like a someone close to me just died, just 7 years ago we were all filled with hope and excitment with Priest reuniting, and now it may be all over. What bothers me is that Rob and KK spoke on how Priest had a few more years left in them. Also, notice how the press realese also states "World Tour". Does that mean they will countinue touring on a limited level? Rob also mentioned a new album in an interveiw a couple of months ago, and with the European leg of the tour ending in august, it doesn't leave much time for the US. So I envision them touring in 2012, their 40th annaversery with Rob. This may not truly be be the end, but if it is, it has been good. Priest are my favorite band, always will be. Unlike some of us, I believe Priest have been kicking ass since they reunited with Rob. Their music changed my life and many others. They have been the MOST influential artist on my music and on any metal artist.

Well, I just came back from seeing HALFORD and Ozzy in Grand Rapids, Michigan tonight. FUCKING AWESOME!!!! Rob was incredible and this did not seem like a man that is ready to retire. But Priest is a band and if even one member is done, they will NOT replace him.
I love this band more than anything and all the bullshit I'm reading from some people just pisses me off! When Rob said tonight that he would be back next year with Priest, I don't know, there was just something about how he said it - he seemed sad.
If you are or ever were a Priest fan, GET OFF YOUR ASS AND COME TO SEE THEM AND SUPPORT THEM! I know I will go to every single show that I can make it to.
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE INCREDIBLE MUSIC AND SHOWS - YOU TRULY ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE METAL GODS!!! Edited at: Wednesday, December 08, 2010 12:01:07 AM
