I agree Paor...I've tried the chatroom a few times and was very disappointed...but the Noticeboard gives us pretty much the same thing, so don't feel bad about it...

I didn't say Ozzy sucks, I said the song I was listening to sucks and that Ozzy is nowhere near the performer he used to be. The quality of his work is diminishing and he should retire with his crediblity intact. He's a shadow of his former self and he hasn't brought out a good album since 91.

When you think about it, if you really wanted to kill someone you could just take them on a cruise, get them drunk and shove them over the rail. If the impact on the water didn't kill them they would surely drown before help came. Another bonus about killing someone on a cruise is that it's clean, there's no way they could prove you did it.

The man is probably suffering to some degree. Think he's more pissed he'll be in jail then anything.
I know this kind of grief and horror, though. I remember coming topside on our boat a couple of New Years Eves ago to discover my son wasn't on the pier. Except for lights sparkling on the water, pitch black was the surface and smooth as glass. Then the god awful stillness was broken by splashes beneath the peir. Seconds later he surfaced near the boat next to us, clawing for the pier and gasping for air. We were lucky! But it's a memory that I'm sure will take a while to fade. |

My daughter is 11 years old and I wouldn't EVER think about telling her to walk 10 miles on her own when it was a nice sunny day let alone freezing with a foot of snow on the ground.
