Good morning and Merry Christmas to all our friends here!!
Five years ago I met Bev here at JP.com and last night, with the blessings of her son and my daughter and in front of my family, I asked her to marry me and she said yes!!
I hope this holiday season is as happy and joyous for you as it has been for us!!

WOW, what a week of surprises!! First, Bev presented me with the belated birthday gift of Single Cuts, then there was the Choosen Few when I got off work yesterday!!
Single Cuts is amazing!! From the sleeve artwork to the mini LP's...AWESOME!!!!! The magnets...yeah, I opened this thing up as soon as I walked in the door!!...are a huge surprise as far as quality goes. They're not the flimsy little things you put on the fridge!!
The Choosen Few may not make sense to some folks but the particular songs 'choosen' for this release are a compilation that 'works' from beginning to end. Even though I'm not the biggest 'Turbo' fan, reading the reason why this song was picked while listening to it made sense and was enjoyable!!
For those of you that decided against these purchases, you are really missing out. It was like the good 'ol days when I couldn't wait to read the liner notes not knowing what to expect.
Sooooo much has happend this summer I think it's easier to just move forward from here.
November shows are almost here and I can hardly wait!! Trying to block them out of my mind drives me even crazier than I already am and it's driving me nuts!!!!!! I can't stand long waits lol.
My daughter had her first wedding anniversary this past week and she'll be 21 next week...where has the time gone??
Hope all is well with everyone and I hope to be chatting with my friends here as soon as ya'll wake up!!!!
A peaceful morning!! Took a vacation day as a birthday present to myself. Bev, thank you sooooooo much for waking me with a fresh cup of coffee!! I love you!
AHHHHH!! The first of two weeks off work. Just dropped Bev off at work and figured I'd drop in to 'hi' (and maybe gloat a little while most of you have to work HAA!!).
Freeze, I'd ask you how've you been but I DO indeed follow your fb posts and am very happy for as a friend and as a fan of music that you're havinvg a blast doing what you love!! I hope you get to meet some interesting people at the ceremony. Have fun!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Sunday, June 26, 2011 1:12:10 PM)

Honestly, I really don't think we will actually win...There are just too many VERY good acts here in Vegas. We are relatively new to the scene and still making our name. We have had a lot of success in a short period and THAT is a testament to our hard work but I am grateful to actually have received the nomination!! THAT is a HUGE win in itself! Not to mention getting an opportunity to "hob nob" with some known names of Rock! Lemmy was there last year , too!! So was Lita Ford. A chance to actually talk to any one of them is a chance of a lifetime!!! SO excited!!

Am I the only one who doesn't want to go back to work tomorrow?? Upper 80's today and in the 80's for the next week...FINALLY feels like summer out there!!

Really looking forward to hearing some new material!!
Does a song off every album mean off Jugulator and Demolition as well? I don't know who did the majority of anything, but all 3 are credited in the booklet as follows: Produced by Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, Mixed byt Attie Bauwhaus Amsterdam with Glenn and K.K., ALL SONGS WRITTEN AND ARRANGED BY TIPTON / HALFORD / DOWNING. The strings were added by a 3rd party. That's all that I know...that and the idea itself was that of Bill Curbishley.

"Want a computer to last at least 5 years?" Why would you still stick with a dual core, then? Hell, popping a quad into a new Sandybridge mobo (- Cougar Point. Intel fixed the problem with the first release) is a minor bump in price but will take a 2 core to task. Like I said in my first comment, why anyone would put an outdated processor into a new build is beyond me. Especially when the price difference isn't that great. Go AMD and Linux if you really want to get most bang for the buck. (Quoting Message by ron h from Sunday, April 17, 2011 9:41:40 AM)

Not even a need to bat an eye at any Microsoft OS in between: either WinXP Pro or 7.
Gaming or not, it is exactly as Nupe said...apps that take advantage of a quad core, as most now do, would have one dedicated to them making multitasking much faster. While I am not a fan of "kits" when I build machines, I do also recommend an SSD (solid state harddrive) just for the OS with a backup physical drive (I currently run Seagate Blacks) for storage. Putting the OS on a SSD makes the typically sluggish load time for any flavor of Windows a ... well ... flash! (<==nerds will get it).

Thanks Hellrider and Budred. Today we've got our new puppie named Linus,I'm excited! We've planned getting him for weeks now and today we've finally got him,he is 10 weeks old.
HAAA! Can't be all that difficult. I bet I could walk you through any software / driver installation typing with my toes.
Funny you should say the "no camera" bit. I just gave one of my old ones to a buddy with the same problem. No WEBCAM though? Not even built into the computer itself? What kind of dinosaur are you typing on, man? Even Hellrider has a webcam. Like my old digital cameras, you can't even give them away. I have a number of those too. Just say the word and I'll make a charitable contribution. Too bad I already got reamed on my taxes...

Thanks Hellrider,Guido and Becks I'd post pictures but I don't have a scanner, same reason I couldn't post pictures of my tattoos. I'll look into getting one soon though. When I do I'll post pictures of him. Hell I'll look into that this weekend. I take that back,Victoria now just looked and I have my old one but I lost the software and don't know shit how to operate it or how to get anything going. God I wish I lived near Guido!!! lol!! I do have a computer orienated friend I can call.
Hellrider...he is a chocolate colored pure breed Lab,and now I found out he is not 10 weeks old,he is just over 6 weeks old, damn is he small!!! lol!

lol I don't have one either. I have a 19" flatscreen without a built in camera and it's less than a year old. Had a webcam many years ago. Looking at barebone kits now to built a new PC. Learning as I go, there's a lot of info out there to wrap my wee lil mind around. I DO know I want a dual core processor a lot more memory than I have now. Taking on a new challenge!!
