ac/dc's a good rock band. PRIEST ARE METAL GODS. In my opinion there is only one band out there that might carry the torch for my kids generation......Avenged Sevenfold (they're drawn to them like I am drawn to PRIEST). I have to admit I see alot of similarities with them & Priest. But if you think anyone will ever be better than Priest, You've got another thing coming!!!!!!! |

Here are 3 crazy things I'd love to see from the 3rd row in Lowell, MA:
A duet between Rob & Joan Baez. You know the song.
Ian playing a 5 minute solo; front & center.
Priest playing a version of Bob Dylan's The Ballad of Frankie Lee & Judas Priest.
Songs? Anything that inspires the Metal Gods on 11-20-11.

Buffets & self serve anything regarding food. I've seen too many things to ever eat from one again (bugs, people picking stuff up & putting them back, folks sticking their nose into the soup to get a good whiff, coughing, sneezing, things falling off clothes into the scrambled eggs, actually saw a guy urinate himself halfway thru the line & then continued to poke around. Can I get something from the kitchen please? Edited at: Saturday, July 30, 2011 4:03:50 PM |

Thank You,,,,, For the first metal cassette I ever listened to (Screaming for Vengeance). For turning me on to Joan Baez & Bob Dylan. For inspiring me to explore all types of music. I didn't know why at the time but it awakened me somehow when I found out that the Metal Gods I loved listened to other genres. You've had a huge impact on my life because of that and not just musically. Thank You for going on another tour. I'm so grateful for an opportunity for my kids & I to see you live. They've never been to a Priest concert. |

Thank You all for sharing. I started this topic a couple of months ago and now that some time has passed I have to say that I just want to see the show. If you told me 25 years ago they'd be touring in 2011, I wouldn't have believed it. The reality is,,,,,,,,,, from now until the day I die i will have only one oppurtunity to see Priest live with my kids,,,,,,,,, I'm still bummed out about KK but all I'm thinking about is: When is Priest coming to my area? When can I get tickets? |

It's a "FAREWELL TOUR". Our chance as fans to Thank Priest for the music we've listened to our whole lives. Selfishly, I want to KK there at the end of the show taking one final bow with the other Metal Gods............ Whether he plays or not............ I do hope he re-considers, straps on a guitar and becomes part of this historical event, I think he'll regret it if he doesn't. We ALL want an opportunity to wish KK a "FAREWELL", he's earned it.............KK if you're reading, be Frankie Lee, Priest isn't a house, it's a home. Me & all your fans will help you with your load. |

I know right. How can they replace him? He co-created the dual guitar sound. Can someone else step in (I just puked in my mouth saying that) and have the same chemistry with Glen it took 40+ yrs to develop? |

I respect his choice. I'm just so bummed out. Seeing Priest one more time is EPIC, but now I feel like I just got kicked in the nuts. Won't be the same. What do you think? |

I think you're a bit too critical. He picked a good song for his comments. This isn't a video, it's a slide show. I thought the show was fair and had it's moments like when it faded to black for a while. I must admit though I don't enjoy seeing still pictures of musicians playing the music that we're hearing or obvious imagery like a danger sign when the singer says "danger". But if you're gonna trash something as hard as you did, I think you gotta post your own stuff to compare. In other words, put up or shut up. |

I had to give up my tortoise when my (ex)girlfriend and I moved in together. I haven't seen either one recently but the tortoise is at my kids school & doing well. What was I thinking, I've missed him for a year and was over her in a day. |

Never seen Priest.
Well,,,,,,,, this looks like their last tour so go see them where ever they play. Ramania or not. Sounds like you're on your own with this but trust me WHEN you go to the concert you'll be welcomed by like-minded, heavy-metal, fist-pumping, head-banging fans. |

Diamonds & Rust led me to Joan Baez who then led me to Bob Dylan. He in turn led me to Johnny Cash. And so on. The one ballad that has impacted my Love & Thirst for all music for many years. But no matter how far away I roam, I always come back to the METAL GODS. |
