We had a band in the early 80's called Snakebite lol. Primarily because thats what myself and the other guitarist used to drink in copious amounts He was a better guitarist but I learnt quite a lot from him. I was more the Malcolm Young element. I remember him showing me how to play a new song one practice session. It was Grinder. From that day on I was hooked on Priest.
We went our seperate ways a couple of years later and I gave up guitar for some 20 years. Took it up again some 6 years ago but nothing serious.
Recently made contact with the old guitarist and have a mate who has just bought a drum kit. Hopefully we can get together for a bash over the summer.
I've managed to get a fair bit of guitar gear together so it needs to see some action
