I consider us very lucky here!! Not sure how 4 dates happened in all smaller venues.

They do have that at the Ampitheather. But it sucks. The seats used are in the 200's or the VIP boxes at the top of the 200's. We received the package from them to buy it, but turned it down.

It was either Live Nation (the promoter) or band management that makes the call to hold back tickets. This is the first time I've ever seen a whole section, though. I think it was an attempt to stop the brokers. Hard to sell 200 level tickets when 100s are available. It's just too bad we didn't know what was happening.
As for getting tickets closer to the date, that is always possible as there is always a few great seats set aside for the band and the promoter. They will get released usually just a few days before the show or even that day, of they aren't being used. That's why it never hurts to check. It was damn hard waiting for this though, we really want to see this tour! |

No kidding!!! I was hopping that they're were doing this to arrange for another VIP package this tour. I been checking everyday...even called Live Nation to find out what was going on. Just happened to see this, really didn't expect this on a Sunday. Glad I refused to buy to 200's when they went on sale.

Just wanted let everyone know that tickets for section 102 finally went on sale today!! Not sure why but these tickets were not released when they first went on sale. At last check row h was still left on ticketmaster. Live Nation is not selling this section. Good Luck may we get them before the brokers.

| Hey....I did the Amex front of the line and it sucked as usual, so you can't blame that. The best you can normally get through them are the 200s (off the the sides too) and that's what it was this time too. So I passed. Same as Marktheshark, I was in right away (actually had 3 people all trying for me too!!) and the best was mid 200s. The really strange thing is that I've checked out TicketsNow and Stub Hub as well as some local ticket "brokers" and the entire 102 section is nowhere to be found. Just a few 101s and 103s. So I'm waiting to see what happens...never seen anything like this before. Who knows maybe they will announce some sort of VIP package yet. |

Yes we made it home just fine...but it was hard to leave there. What a great day!! The pre-show party was great, met lots of great people there from all over...and not just Preist fans, lots of Motorhead and Black Sabbath...oops I mean, Heaven and Hell. All the bands were great!! Diffenately the best gig this year.
It was great meeting you and hangin out for the day. Cheers to everyone I met there...sorry can't remember too many names. |

My experience has been no age restrictions....but usually there is a father or mother there too....it usually seems that they are the person responsible for the younger person liking the music. Your challange most likely would is to get a VIP package.
