As long as we are on this topic, no "sorry" necessary. I stick by my guns. I flipped a Pontiac 6000 doing 100MPH+ to "Locked in." I can look back and laugh now but that album meant a lot to me back in the day. I WILL say that I didn't like "Turbo Lover" in the second to last tour. Brought it all to a screeching halt, I say.
I also await a KILLER new album from the One and Only. In the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to wrap work around Halford / Ozzfest! I am looking at IL (first) or PA for anyone who can join me.

Point Of Entry "CRAP"? Turbo "CLASSIC"? LOL! All I have to say is "WOW". Yes Point Of Entry is not the greatest, but it kicks the shit out of "Turbo" in my books. The 4 embarrassing songs on the album are Don't Go,You Say Yes,Trouble Shooter and All The Way. The On The Run track is dull but passable.
Turbo's entire side one is utterly embarrasing! Turbo lover,Locked In is total shit(sorry Ron & Guido this song fuckin sucks! HAHA)Private Property,Parental Guidance and Rock You All Around The World...all 5 songs are Priest at thier lowest point in theier career. Out In The cold is not shining Judas Priest,Wild Nights is way but too poppy,Hot For Love is embarrasing and Reckless is alright.
9 songs off the Turbo album and only one song is passable "Reckless" the other 8 are shit. And not to mention the image of Turbo...YUK,the "sound" of Turbo is trendy and unacceptable.Point Of Entry was a let down coming off British Steel but nowhere near the letdown Turbo was coming off an album titled 'Defenders Of the Faith"? What were they thinking?
Jimmy thinks Hot Rockin is lame,I can't fathom that but if that is lame then what is side one of Turbo? lol! At least Point Of Entry has 5 good songs, even take one away ...4 good songs and Turbo has one.Turbo is Judas Priest's worst album of all time, even worse than Nostradamus but I'm glad you enjoy it Ron,if I ever hear that album again "it will be too soon"!!!!!! Arrghh I fuckin hate that album with a freakin passion!!

Fernando Alonso will drive for Ferrari in 2010 with Kimi Raikkonen leaving the team.
The two-time former World Champion has agreed a three-year deal with the Maranello marque.
He will partner Felipe Massa, currently recovering from serious injury. Giancarlo Fisichella, who recently signed for the team as a stand-in for Massa, will take the role of reserve driver.
That means Raikkonen, World Champion in 2007, is left looking for another team
Fernando Alonso will sign a five-year contract with Ferrari worth €25 million (£23 million), according to Spanish media.
Media reports claim that Ferrari will make an announcement on Thursday and team boss Stefano Domenicali has all but confirmed the deal saying: "As soon as we are ready we will let you know. We don't want to wait too long."
Speculation is rife that Alonso's departure will lead to Kimi Raikkonen returning to McLaren while BMW driver Robert Kubica is expected partner Romain Grosjean at Renault next year.

It's good to be back. Missed you all . Crazy days, crazy times. I've tried to keep an eye, but it's been hard to stay for long. Much like the pic, not always seen but never far from sight.
ROME (AP) -- Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher is making a comeback for Ferrari to replace injured driver Felipe Massa.
Ferrari said Wednesday in a statement that the German had agreed to get back in the cockpit until Massa is fit to return. The next race is the European Grand Prix on Aug. 21-23 in Valencia, Spain.
Not for the first time - and PF1 seriously doubts if it will be for the last time either - Ferrari have denied signing Fernando Alonso.
Earlier this week, Diario AS reported that Fernando Alonso would be heading to Ferrari next season, having signed a five-year contract.
The Spanish daily even went as far as to say that the Scuderia would be confirming the Spaniard on the Friday of the Italian GP weekend and would be including him in their post-season parties.
Ferrari will reportedly confirm the signing of Fernando Alonso at their home race, the Italian Grand Prix.
Rumours of his pending move to Ferrari have dogged Alonso for the past three years, however, instead of joining the Italian marque he spent the 2007 season at McLaren before returning to Renault.
But his days at Renault are reportedly numbered.
Spanish daily Diario AS is claiming that on the Friday of the Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari will confirm that Alonso will be joining them next season, having signed a five-year contract.

Why would you want to communicate someone else's feelings ? Something I have always loved to do is to turn on the radio ( especially when KNAC was still on the air ) and ignore the vocals. Hi guys! I am (still) a beginner guitar player and would like to play something someday. What is the easiest song in the entire world that a complete idiot can play? To date, I am completely stumped by Iron Man, Crazy Train, Sweet Child of Mine and Smells Like Teen Spirit. Maybe I need to trade the V in for a drum set?
This sucks. First I have to endure an NFL season without Tom Brady and now after all the hard work I have to see an NBA playoffs without Kevin Garnett. Thank goodnes the Bruins are looking good and healthy !
Unfortunately that is NASCAR's way. Always trying to create a level playing field instead of rewarding innovation. The gas crisis in the 70's would have killed it anyway, but it would have been interesting to see what could have been. In the end, there can be only ONE King of the road!
Just think what this car could have done if Dodge had of been allowed to finish their R&D on the DOHC 426 Hemi. But since Ford & GM went crying to nascar about the "Winged wonder" & NASCAR buckled under rather than saying "Buck it up boys, build a badder car" rather than dictating some pathetic engine only for the aero cars or add weight to them if you run the Hemi so everyone else could compete. Not that the tires could have taken much more than the speeds they were reaching with this car but a little R&D from goodyear & a lower profile would have taken care of that quite nicely. What could have been,
True that companies are always looking for the cheaper option, as long as it can acheive the same goal. And yes, I do understand that there is always some kind of training involved at a new job since every company has it's own ways of doing things. But just think. How much time, effort and money is spent obtaining degrees in order to do a job that could be learned through on the job training and getting paid, not paying, to learn it. Personally, I believe that the job has either got to be something that you love or be worth a huge amount of money to bother with higher education these days. By the time you're done spending the time getting the education ( and not earning money on the job ) and then repaying all the loans taken to get the education how much is the degree holder actually making versus all the money lost during the process ?
Not to insult anyone and their pursuit of education, but experience is extremely valuable. I have encountered many "book smart" people who couldn't common sense their way out of a wet paper bag. The job pays what the job pays. If I'm going to hire someone to do it, I want someone who can do it right and do it right away. If I have to train them, they are not qualified for the job.
Unfortunately a degree just doesn't mean what it used to. There was a time when schools only excepted the exceptional and the degrees they earned reflected the hard work and dedication it took to obtain them. Now it seems that anyone who can afford to go can go. As with most things these days, mediocrity is the norm. It was deemed necessary to find ways for all to attend college and obtain degrees. This cheapened their value to the point that the degree alone meant little compared to actual experience doing the job one is applying for. It's a shame that the truly intelligent and hard working get the same degree as the mediocre and there is no way to tell the difference since employers do not have access to grades and actual achievement during their schooling. You have noooooooooooooo idea ! That Eyespot site was the biggest pain in the butt I've ever experienced. I honestly must have spent close to 30 - 40 hours on that thing. If the site did not have so many problems it would have only taken about 3 hours ! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by ShadowVT from Sunday, April 12, 2009 8:30:43 PM)

Sorry, but I've stepped on more than my share of toes around here so I didn't want to offend. Especially when it comes to religious holidays. Might just have to make me a batch. Sounds delicious.
Didn't want to offend if it was a strict "Easter tradition". So a berry filled with a raspberry jam cross or a banana filled with chocolate cross is cool ?
I couldn't believe how stupidly easy it was. They officially go on sale tomorrow @ 1pm, but I went on Live Nation and registered with them which allowed me to buy them earlier today.
