Eh up lads,
just want to know why the 30th anniversary British Steel tour was'nt celebrated in the land where judas priest began, it's like a kick in the knackers to us in forgotten england.
i,ve always been optamistic that when it comes to connecting with the fans, the band would show loyalty and give us what we deserve, please have a word with the management team and come up with a reminiscing tour for us brits.. if the problem is because the arena tour did'nt sell out, then at least think of the thousands that did turn out..
i personally would prefer to watch two sold out nights at manchester apollo than the arena any day..
hope to see you all again in the near future...

what a result that Priest are playing manchester apollo 17/02/09, not being a lover of large or open air venues. if any priest fans coming over to watch the greatest heavy metal band ever, just to let you know the manchester apollo holds about 2500 people (total) and there are still tickets left...... the apollo is an intamate, sweaty, feet stick to the carpets venue that generates a fantastic atmosphere... the place actually bounces, and the band knows the venue verey well having played there from the beginning of the 80s right through to the last tour in 2004..... you can even stand at the bar located at the back of the stalls and still see the white of robs eyes............ see you there fellow priest fans.... |

I reckon priest + maiden could do a gig and blow every metal based band off the face of the earth with what would be the gig of the century..... could you imagine the energy these two bands would create belting out their classics from two minutes to midnight to victim of changes and an amazing stage show to go with it ......... imagine mixing a powerslave set with a british steel/point of entry set..... come on jayne andrews use you're imagination... |

The intro and explosive start to exciter off unleashed in the east still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.... i hope they slot exciter in during the 2009 tour of uk |

eh up gibbo, with a bit of luck priest will do 2x manchester apollo dates again, i agree the smaller venues are more intimate. i went both nights 2005 and for a crowd sell out of about 2500 it was amazing. Edited at: Saturday, July 05, 2008 8:37:08 AM |

make the most of it america..... priest were formed 1 hours drive from me in bermingham and no dates to show us fans that have followed them for many years is a load of bollox. i hope jayne andrews reads this post and sorts something out A.S.A.P. the new album sounds a classic so us brits will just have to wait until priest have exhausted america and hope there is enough left in the tank for a uk show. |
