In his latest video blog on his website, KK said that, if there was enough demand for it, the British Steel tour would be brought over to the UK and Europe. So if you live in Europe and the UK, use this thread to let Priest know how much we want the tour and with a bit of luck we'll see them touring round here again soon :):):):):):):):) |

Yup, sounds good. I'm hoping for another AOR stlye kind of thing. I found it very similar to Sad Wings and I think thats what made it so good. AOR is my favourite album of all time so a similar kind of thing would be amazing! |

Another studio album like AOR would be brilliant. And it would have 2 start with a blistering scream from Rob after a slow build up from KK and Glenn, which then launches into their classic metal sound. I hope they start work on it soon |

The Manchester show was absolutely amazing! Rob was hitting notes that he hadn't hit in a long time (the best being the scream at the beginning of Between The Hammer and The Anvil) and the rest of the band were on top form. I hope someone posts that performance of BTHATA on youtube just so i can hear that scream again. I was right at the front and KK gave me a thumbs up at the end. Absolutely amazing band with some amazing songs and brillinat st6age presence. The best gig I have seen in my life! |

Rob and Glenn were on Bruce Dickinson's Friday Rock Show last night (Feb 13) and Glenn pretty much confirmed a live album he said,
"We have a new live album coming out very soon which has Exciter on it"
The fact that he knows wha's on it makes it poretty certain. Also the fact that it has Eciter on it must mean it's highlights from the last couple of tours strung together like on Halford's Live Insurrection CD. Either that or its a full show from the AOR tour, which i doubt.
If you want to listen to the interview go to
http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/bruce_dickinson/
and click listen again in the top right hand corner. You'll be bale to listen to it for a week.

Well, Kerrang's a load of crap now anyway. They used to have Priest plastered all over their pages along with other great bands like Saxon, but now they feature very heavily all the shitty emo bands and crap like Elliott Minor and Bullet For My Valentine who will never live up to Priest. I've never read Terrorizer but to me it looks a very hardcore metal magazine and with Nostradamus being rather different and encompassing loads of genres of music, not just metal, they may have been put off by that like a lot of people, unfortunately, have. Metal Hammer is the best Metal magazine out there and they have there opinions straight.

The translations for the Italian chorus in Pestilence and Plague is in the lyrics n the book:
The Italian says:
NELLA TENTAZIONE, CERCANDO LAGLORIA, IL PREZZODA PAGARE, E' LA CADUTA DELL'UOMO
The translation is:
INTO TEMPTATION, IN SEARCH OF GLORY, THE PRICE WE PAY, THE FALL OF MAN [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by codynstuff from Wednesday, June 18, 2008 7:51:30 PM) | | codynstuff wrote: | | oh i just found it online

A fantastic album, one of Priest's best albums. It's definetly up there with AOR, Painkiller and Sad Wings. Speaking of Sad Wings, I must say that a lot of the songs on this album do remind me of that album. It's probably to do with the tempo. In short this album is a masterpiece. Rob's vocals are epic, especially on Exiled, Pestilence and Plague and Death. Glenn and KK's guitar work is as good as ever, they are fantastic at making even the slow songs sound quite heavy. Ian has finally had a chance to shine! The bass is very prominent in a lot of the songs and it's fantastic as I think that Ian has taken the back seat for too long! Scott's drumming is top notch as always, especially, of course, on the title track. Using interludes and preludes was a fantastic idea. It makes the whole album flow and on mnay occasions it sent shivers down my spine especially when Shadows in The Flame links to Visions and when The Four Horsemen links to War.
Before I got the album (I refused to listen to it online :P) I had read quite a few negative reviews of the album, but I think that Nostradamus' critics have been proven wrong! This album is a triumph and is at least Priest's 3rd best album (I still can't decide what order AOR, Nostradamus and Sad Wings should be in lol) WELL DONE JUDAS PRIEST ON AN OUTSTANDING ALBUM AND A FANTASTIC SHOW AT DOWNLOAD 2008! Prophecy- a fantastic start to the album, really catchy
War- The word epic captured in one piece of music
Pestilence and Plague- ROB SINGS ITALIAN! NUFF SAID!
Exiled- fantastic, another epic one (but in a totally different way to War)
Visions- I dare you not to get shivers down your spine when Shadows in The Flame links to this. |

I think a video for visions would be a lot wiser, say with the band dressed in balc performing around cgi fire and some quick scenes of nostradamus and his visions etc. that would be a lot better |

I am not going to listen to the leak preview but I don;t see a problem with a ballady cd. Angel and Beyond The Realms of Death are two of the nest ballads I have ever heard n they were both by Priest! Nostradamus just sounds like one of those things where you have to have an open mind. It's like the Iced Earth something wicked part 1 concept album ,you have 2 have an open mind. Its always good to hear a heavy metal band try something new and splice some extra little non metal bits inbetween the main songs. I cannot wait for Nostradamus, I have loved every Judas Priest album and I'm sure I will love this one |
