Hello there fellow priest fans. It has been a long time since I'v posted on this website, but I'm always here reading the comments.
I coulden't resist starting a topic about the London show last night.
Judas Priest played absolutely amazing as usual. Very high energy from the band, and the crowd.
The important part though is the concert hall was full of cameras, and at the end of the night Scott came back on stage and announced to the crowds delight that the show had in fact been filmed for the next Judas Priest DVD. Then the band went on to play one final encore song ( Living After Midnight) ]
Very exciting been a while since the last DVD . I love the epitaph tour set list. Blood Red Skies, and The Sentinal on DVD. I can't wait to see this. The band were on fire last night.
One of the only problems is Rob's vocals could barely be heard on Starbreaker due to some sort of fault. I don't know if when filming the audio would be captured some other way though. I just hope it doesn't get cut.

Just listend to all the new album & i gotta say the fact that Judas Rising,Hellrider,Riding On The Wind,Beyond The Realms Of Death,Touch Of Evil, & Painkiller are all from the Rising DVD has just ruined it all for me.
the way they have done this by saying never released before even though we know they have with ripper & then just being plain lazy n using versions of the songs we have been listning to for about 4 years now.MONEY GRAB.
i will still get it though cause its Judas Priest & the rest of the cd is still sooo awsome. |

Naa i think they are a waste of valuable song time.Scott is amazing dont get me wrong, but id rather have another short priest song in the set.
Just not a fan of them in general though, like when i saw Heavn & Hell, and Vinnie Appice did a drum solo i just thought this is pointless.
Unless ur somelike Neil Pert,John Bonham,Ian Paice, or Cozy Powell i dont see the point. |

There is no reason that Nostradamus will be the last one they will do. some people might not like the music or type of album it is but u have to admit the band do sound on top of ther game.
They have still got a few left in em im sure. |

I cant wait to hear the album ! but still i have to come back to the whole WHY LIE???.
These tracks HAVE been on other Judas Priest live albums before, maybe not by this line up so why not just say that.
All songs profomed by the definitive line up or something.
The band hyped up Ripper & the 2 albums with him, and for some we did our part & stuck by the priest.
I was over the moon when Rob came back & to this day still am, i dident even feel that bad for tim cause i new no way was his career over.
no way will i just pretend he was never a real member of the band just, a hired hand or something, would even be nice if priest played a song off jugulator & demolition would be very interesting.

There is three songs on this album that have been on other priest live albums SO WHY LIE?,dont try to pretend the ripper era never happend , i dont think any one cares that they are on another album anyway.
I love priest with all my heart but some times they can annoy me like when ripper first joined they said stuff like were has ripper been all our lives & the songs have never sounded better & Rob started to loose it towards the end so now the songs sound rite again.
& now they pretend he was never even in the band.
Dont get me wrong though im still 1000000% glad robs back, it just annoys me sometimes. |

i dont mind that they are doing British steel but i would still like nostradamus as well.
i do think it should be the other way round as well Nostradamus this year & British Steel next year as it will actually be 30 years.
also i dont think Nostradamus should be a full tour just 1 or 2 relly big sold out shows in a great venue filmed for a DVD. |

British heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic 1980 album "British Steel" by embarking on a special tour next year featuring a performance of that LP in its entirety. This information was revealed by the band's guitarists, K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton, during an interview they gave to the Spanish web site Rafabasa.com yesterday (Sunday, March 15) prior to the Madrid concert on JUDAS PRIEST's "Priest Feast" tour. In addition, Tipton told Rafabasa.com that a planned "Nostradamus" tour with material exclusively from that album (featuring a full theatrical production) will now likely be postponed until a later date. |

What a show last night.
i would not class my self a fan of Testament yet cause i havent got any of their albums, but they were amazing last night so think im gunna have to get me a few.
Megadeth were good, amazing set list dave singing live is not the best in the world though.
I was near the middle front for priest, & they were on fire last night.
probley the best time i have seen them, robs singing was on top form.
so much better than watching them at download for all the lights, people ect.
fav songs of the night had to be Eat Me Alive,Sinner, & Death.
even a lil pit for Painkiller was pretty kool.
Such a great atmosphere last night as well dident hear any megadeth fans bitching about priest or vise versa.
lots of priest chants, and many people singing along to War Pigs was fun. |

I have not a clue about sales, but i would have said Stained Class/Killing machine/ Unleashed In The East would have put them on the map.
British Steel got their name in the Aerican Charts
Screaming 4 Vengence in 1982 was when Metal hit it big time on radio so S4V did very well, and they carryed on this with DOTF and Turbo but then alienated there fan base outside of the USA.
then Metal stared going down hill & so did priest and they went more underground, the fan base was still there record sales were not. |

Your 4th point is totally stupid.
Judas Priest have been looking to do a concept album for years now, they were shown many ideas one being Nostradamus & they went for it.
& In all there interviews they have said it has been a complete labour of love.

As a single song Painkiller is better than nostradamus.
As a entire album Nostradamus is alot better imo, listend to the whole thing six times now & it just gets better every time, I think Nostradamus will be in my top 4 fav Judas Priest albums. |

Whiskey or Beer that is very hard to choose.
I love both, i mean Jack & Coke is always amazing when im out, but then a nice cold beer in the sun after work is what life is all about, ya know?? |

I brought the album yesterday, & have listend to it twice now, i love it, every song just works if you ask me, there is defintly alot to take in, but its really great to follow the story, & read along with the lyrics.
Peace through to Alone i think is the best part of the story telling, im not saying they are my fav songs though. Edited at: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 6:53:32 AM |

When you go to school (not that i do anymore) u write Judas Priest all over your work books & names of their songs.
you have an hour long convo with your maths teacher about Judas Priest.
You wear a Judas Priest hat at work everday (Im a Chef)

Owning all their albums from Rocka Rolla to Nostradamus. i guess is one way.
when ever you go out, into a rock n roll club , first thing you always request in some Judas Priest.
listen to the band all most every day.
if you have a Judas Priest tattoo.
