HA!!! She's just keeping your bed warm.
One time my mom asked me what kind of topics did JP write for their music throughout their career. I went off on a long list of topics before saying, "Well, just about everything." She just nodded. Yup. Doesn't care for it. If JP were anything like Juan Gabriel I'm sure she'd love them in a heartbeat. Sounds like Pops. He just kinda grimaced and let it go. I BLASTED it, though. Bose 301s. If you know them, you'd know. They shook the room. He won't even walk into either my bedroom or TV room with stereo going. Klipsch 5.1s on both. Yeah, it shakes the ground!
ps. Nina does't get a guitar. Calvin is true to the V. Nina is upstairs in my bed sleeping. NO SOUP FOR HER!

That must have been funny!! It probably sounds much better than loud Hip-Hop music.
Guido. One time I was playing Rising in the East in the living room while my mom was making lunch, and she was laughing because of how old the members were. She didn't have much to say about them music-wise, though.

That's quite an eclectic mix in your family music wise! JP is so not corny, Poison is corny LOL! I love nothing more than driving around blasting JP out of my car stereo speaking of blasting music, I was in town yesterday and a dude drove by blasting Hindi music, sounded very bizarre LOL!

Apparently my niece. She gets pissed when I play anything from them. She considers them 'corny'. WHAT??
My mom's from México, so she only listens to Mexican music (and consequently so do I every once in a while). My oldest sister likes R&B (bleah!) and the second oldest likes Coldplay and such. My oldest nephew liked Metallica once but he's now a fan of NU-metal and some techno (weird mix).

How can anyone hate JP! LOL! My family aren't metal heads either, my mum likes Neil Diamond and Lady GaGa, YUCK. My sister is a bit better, her favourite band is Led Zep. Craig is a metal head too, otherwise I wouldn't be able to live with him But I don't really have any close friends around who are metal heads, which is a bit sad.
Yep Guido definite street cred for him lol. He leant me his JP CDs YEARS ago but I was only able to listen to one, and it was so long ago that I don't remember which one it was. Wish I had paid more attention then.

Awwwww. How about Nina?
Becks. I wish my family has such exquisite taste in music. They either don't care for metal or hate JP with a passion (in my niece's case it's the latter).

Calvin gets the red '84 Hamer. He is curled up to it as I type.

We're ALL sinners, man, so it's totally appropriate. And I'm sure Calvin and Nina will take great care of your axes.

HAAAA!!!! Something just strikes me as wrong in playing "Sinner" at a funeral.
Just make sure my axes don't go to some Tennessee finger plucker! All I really ask! |
