Yes sir. That would work. A non-breeder, keep the calcium high is #1. Don't forget to get that make-shift nest out of there as well. Once you take out the egg, it will only encourage her to lay another if there is still a nest. Each egg will take a great toll on her body. That is why you really need that supplement. Egg binding (it basically gets stuck) could easily kill as could low calcium from a non-breeder.

That is probably one of the worst things you could do.....make a nest. Laying an egg depeletes them of calcium more than anything else. With a nest, you are encouraging her to lay more once you remove this one or she finds it doesn't hatch.
Lack of calcium from egg laying can cause seizures. Watch it, bro. Easy way to lose her.

Kiko is about to lay her third egg. Keep proteins high and if you have a petstore near, get eggleyers formula. Toss it in their food dish. They lose a lot of protein dropping an egg fertilized or not.
