You know I gotta chime in here, since it's the "real" JD and all - lol (promise, I won't throw daisies atcha)
Agreed with the whole denim & leather bit. A show is a show, and metal is about attitude.
BUT, as I became more about the metal attitude, I adopted my own style ... Nothing like walking into a throng of metalheads, wearing denim, leather, and lace or velvet to femme it up [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Tuesday, March 03, 2009 5:27:35 PM)

Here is an image from an "old school period" that most modern metal heads that are young and starting new bands have forgotten these days.
This gives them an idea of the right image to uphold when starting a "METAL BAND". Hats, baggy pants,shorts..ect....is just plain right out what is known as "Tunnel Hat".
I am 100% against the "Tunnel Hat" image of so-called "metal bands" if thats what they call themselves. Dress what ever the hell they want outside of the "band"...but when
onstage,in magazine photos,in CD booklets....where ever the band is promoted..then yes they should have a metal image, just like Judas Priest does. This is very important for metal.
