Nevermind he could have saved himself the cash if he didn't smoke.
Let's do the math:
Pack of cigs: $7
Gallon of gas: $5
Parking $12
Total: $24
So, Erik lives exactly 1 MILE away from the nearest 7/11. He can't walk the 1 MILE, perhaps due to shortness of breath, so he spends $5 driving to the place. I'm assuming there is no short term parking. I assume it must take more than 15 minutes to get a pack of cigs at the 7/11, so he HAS to pay for all day parking.
Oh, I just realized, I made a mistake with my math. Erik doesn't live 1 MILE away from the nearest 7/11. He lives 1/2 MILE away from the nearest 7/11. I wasn't thinking about the return trip.
Edit.: Let me correct it again: It takes 1 Gallon of gas to drive to the nearest 7/11 and back to get a $7 pack of cigs, and $12 to park for 15 minutes....I'm so confused right now....
So there you have it.[Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Metal god/Electric eye! from Tuesday, August 26, 2008 4:26:48 AM)

Here in Cracktown Seattle, the North West Dumpster near the coast, a pack of cigarettes is about $$7 and with a $$5 gallon of gas and$$12 to park it will basically cost you about $$24 to go out and get a pack of smokes.....Evil killed the world.
