I think that Metallica will win best Hard rock group. Priest might be able to win the song catagorie, being that thier veterens of the genre, although its metal disguised as hard rock performance.

Are you thinking of Shadows in the Flame? Visions is not that slow but the intro is quite beautiful.
I am sooo excited about the Grammy Nominations. The Grammy's suck but I like the recognition and hopefully because of the nomination the song or other songs will get more airplay. I urge EVERYONE on this board to contact your local rock/metal station and urge them to play more Nostradamus especially since it has been Grammy nominated. Go on.......what are you waiting for? Gotta be the greatest slow song Priest have ever made. It's such a deep and intense tune, makes you feel like just making sensual love to that somebody special. Well done Judas Priest you deserve it. |

Those happen to be four of my least favourite groups. Hope AC/DC stomp all of them. AC/DC are officially up for a Grammy! At the nomination ceremony last night, it was announced that they are up for "Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals" for their smash single "Rock 'N Roll Train." They will be up against Coldplay, The Eagles, Kings of Leon, and Radiohead. That's some tough competition, but we're up for it.
You can see who wins by tuning into the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 8 pm (ET/PT) on CBS. They will be broadcasting live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. | | jimmyjames wrote: | | Why the fuck is it every time Metallica fart they get nominated for a Grammy?
