| I read all your posts & I hear what you're all saying but in my opinion being without JP & Rob for so long, I could care less if they just stand there & sing happy birthday to me .--this cd is basically a "to each his own" deal--may not be thier strongest to date but I'll take what I can get from the METAL GODS !! --hope I haven't offended anyone |

 Hey near dark ! I agree its to much hype for a ballad but too much bad mouthing priest is not the answer. Its the fans I've listened there are a few tracks that reach out but not like [Hell Bent ,Defenders, Ram it down now thats heavy metal , also i said to my wife when i got the album ,i think Rob is setting up for a future in theater,opera. And as i said to her its his choice, but when you got metalheads saying its there best work ever i wonder if they ever listened to any other music.!

I think you are criticizing without having listened to the album. That VH1 and MTV leak don't really do any favors to Nostradamus. I don't think that was even the final anything. I thought Halford's voice was shit, the keyboards were shit and so forth and I listened to it all in shitty computer speakers. Boy, was I wrong. And if you think you can bitch and complain more than I do, think again.
I will bitch about something, alright. But it won't be Nostradamus.
Painkiller IS an awesome album. When it came out I was struck with the power of it, not skipping one single song and I personally thought anybody who didn't like it at the time could go to hell, they were so caught up with cookie monster vocals and Sepultura this, Sepultura that.
Ram It Down has THE best title track EVER to grace my undeserving ears.
Judas Priest are phenomenal and when AOR came out, I liked how it started and still like a few tracks off it, but overall, I thought it was rather weak for what sensed they can put out. Nostradamus could be about sea lions or jelly fish, I don't care, and by the way, you can fuck off. You'll have better luck selling your ass at the docks than badmouth JP.
