It appears that we are finally experiencing a period of relative calm. I am grateful. I know there will be days like yesterday. I understand all that. I sincerely hope that, if I ever find myself being barraged with insults by some lunatic, you all are as kind and stalwart in your defense of me!!!

I have noticed an interesting phenomenon here of late. I like to refer to it as the "I will leave forever if you want" Syndrome. Why is it that so many of our members are choosing to sacrifice their membership here and leave when something drastic occurs?? Does our membership and relationship mean so little that we are willing give it up, or is it a demonstration of "supreme" sacrifice??? Either way, I find it disturbing.

We all know that there are trouble makers and idiots in the world. Sometimes, they manage to find their way here and disrupt our harmony. Quite often, one or more of us (myself included) act out in a way that may be a bit out of character. We may say something we do not really mean. All of this is normal, human behavior. I just do not see why some of us feel we must end our membership to show our contrition??

We make mistakes. All of us. Please take a moment to consider the value of your membership here and what you mean to the others before offering yourself as some kind of human sacrifice! Each and every one of us are special. We are family. You cannot just walk out on your family. ( And NO Ron!! I am not singling you out specifically!!! HA!!!!!!!)

RON, IN MY OPINION, NO APPOLOGIES NECESSARY. YOU DID NOTHING WRONG. YOU JUST  TRIED TO PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE BOARD. YOU STOOD UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVED WAS RIGHT. NOT EVERYONE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO DO THAT. I LOVE READING YOUR POSTS. YOU ALONG WITH OTHERS ARE THE REASON I COME BACK TO THE SITE AS OFTEN AS I DO. YOU ARE AN IMPORTANT AND RESPECTED PART OF THIS SITE. I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING TO THE COMPUTER WHEN I HAVE  TIME TO CHAT WITH FRIENDS. 

PLEASE FOR ONE MINUTE DO NOT THINK OF NOT COMING BACK. ALL YOUR FRIENDS ON THE BOARD WILL BE THE LOSERS IF YOU ARE NOT AROUND.
