I find it odd you saying that because LiveNation Entertainment (owns TicketMaster and LiveNation ) and UMG (Universal Music Group) announced they were working together. UMG owns Trinifold, that owns Priest.

You know they seem to only advertise directly to the local areas where they are touring which is my guess at what they are doing. Definetely a risky/stupid move in any case. Nope, neither has listings for their shows it looks like. I had to go to the Ava Amphitheatre site (Technically Casino Del Sol's which is where the venue is at). Yeah it sucks I had to pay some surcharges myself though not as bad as Tickemaster or Live Nation though. Don't watch Lion King first, though. That was at least a decent film. Wasn't as predictible and had music that made some sense.

Ah, who knows. Maybe we will watch it at some point...maybe after watching the Lion King or something.

Maracas. Oh yeah, fairly common as well. No wonder this movie tanked.

OIL CHANGE?! HOLY SHIT!!
There, I tried to spice up the place a bit but I don't think I succeeded. When the convo turns to falling leaves and oil changes, I think it is about time to call it. LOL. Perhaps I'll sit back and think about how much I am not missing the fact that KK is not in Priest anymore. Either that or take out the garbage. Ah, decisions, decisions.

I think I'm ready to say goodbye to facebook, except an occasional peep in. Not that I care what they do to the format but i hate to file through all the people I'm not close to just to find a post from someone I actually would want to hear from. Now, I'll just have to type in names of people to see things. But who cares, I can't keep up with all that shit.

You got it, Mr. Freeze.
Of course, you DO know that I am only using an abbreviated version of "Detroit" with the initials "DTE" (not a reference to that silly new name to the ampitheater that isn't actually IN Detroit). Priest isn't actually playing at Pine Knob this time around -they are playing at Joe Louis Arena. We passed it on the People Mover.
It IS close to Greek Town, though, so "OPA" right back to you!! (Orange Faygo, though? Damn, you are NOT from the area....)

I just don't get it. Never have. Why would Priest choose to stay with these inept group of bufoons is beyond me. Row 23 is still up for DTE? Man, I don't think any amount of your concoction or even generous spraying of Febreze is going to make this "bullshit - highly respected " management company smell the least bit better.

The only positive thing about a half arena is it won't look so empty and will be a bit more cozy I suppose. Thanks to Curbishly, don't give a shit management, we dont' have any other choices as they don't care to advertise. The sad part about the Chicago show is it's only 3,300 capascity and it's still not yet sold out on the General Admission flooring. Might be a blessing for those on the floor, but probably not much of a blessing for ticket sales. Depressing.

Yes, it is extremely fucking sad to me that it is going this way!!! You can still buy row 23 floor seats for Detroit. But the problem here is this, IMO: NO FUCKING PROMOTION FOR THE SHOWS!! I had to work this past weekend and had the radio on. Not once did I hear a Priest song or mention of the tour! They played a band that is coming to Detroit in November and announced that show over and over again and I just kept thinking - that should be PRIEST they are talking about! When Ozzy came around last December, Ozzy bought advertising time and did a commercial announcing the show. It was played over and over again on this same radio station, which led to the DJ's playing more of his music and of course announcing the show as well. You have to spend money to make money, it's business 101. So why can't Priest spend a couple hours one day recording ad spots to help ticket sales? I've talked to so many people that like Priest and they had no idea they were even touring or that they were playing in Detroit in November! But, what the hell do I know, I'm not their management that is highly respected by everyone....

The sun is surely setting here in the US for Priest. Time to wave goodbye one last time.

Djokovic was ranked #1 for a reason. Some of those returns were just out of this world. I was particularly happy to see that Novak has, apparently, gotten over his "I have an owie" phase where he would bow out of a match with the slightest of aches. THAT was really pissing me off. There, I'll give Rafa credit. See when he went into cramps during the press conference? The Novak of old would have called it quits right there.

Well, I am actually THRILLED that Nadal got his ass handed to him! Hell, he picks at it so much, it was about time someone served it up on a silver platter (heh...not a silver cup). Honestly, I am still a Federer fan but I fear that the old man's time might have passed. After all, he is 30.
Best man won, without a doubt. GO non ass-picking SERBS!

Ok, so I have to download something that will fix it? Well, being a windows user, thats nothing new. And I will have to look up which other alphabet also uses "š" so that it gets through here. I suspect the Italians - its just like them to screw around with us.
Until then I will have to resort to transliterations -the horror!

Why only some come through? Yes, I can explain it. HTML markup code only supports certain letters (code) by default. Russian (Cyrillic) doesn't include all letters in the standard ASCII character set. Same goes for those who have tried to show a Judas Priest font here. Such a font set would have to be downloaded by the user to be seen properly.
Same goes for most diacritics that are not part of the standard ASCII code.

I will try some others.

Does anyone see them?

Engleski je za pedere! That, and you dont speak the queens English - except if that queen is Joy Farrah Darville Hickey Turner, wife (and sister and cousin, and probably dad as well) of Earl Jehoshaphat Hickey the first.
Maybe you should try to learn cyrillic, to be more like the worlds best looking past and future president? If not a few of those silly letters would do you good. Then at least you could find places like Nju Jork, Vošington, Los En?eles or Gothem on the map.
Setting aside the bullshit, I hope you will have a good time in Brazil - and I hope that the Brazilians dont. They won it far too many times, maybe they should let someone else have the honour once in a while.

Oh, so you are a baseball fan, then? Good. You and Freeze can play together online. His fantasy team (I think they were called "the bench warmers") against yours. Do let us know how the battle turns out, eh? At least let us know when you are going to do the 7th inning stretch so we can go grab some refreshments (he'll certainly explain that to you).
Djokovic, though for "?okovi?" - Hmmm...remember that your silly letters don't translate here. Get in step with the rest of the civilized world and speak in the Queen's English, won't you? At least use the King's.
As for Pacman, you had it there?! Did it arrive last year? What were the names of the ghouls that chased ol' Pac around? Dclovic, Blavlovic, Kravokocic and Phil? LOL!!!!
Look for me in Brasil during the next World Cup. I volunteered to help clean out the street crime so that the players can make it to the stadiums. Seriously, worst part is flying into Rio's Galeao airport and trying to get to the Maracaná stadium. I plan to exert my AUTHORITAH!

I dont think he knows either very well, but he could probably tell you that its spelled ?okovi?, not Djokovic. As for Jelena - Let me remind you that Nole has a very strong hand... Which can mean a lot of things and none of them are good for you.
Nascar? I had a video game about that - loooong ago. The level of boring was second only to pac man.
You did root for the Spanish in the final tho. No matter if they werent your first choice - the Dutch certainly werent mine. But we will meet again (maybe) in Brazil in three years.

Not interested, eh. Yeah, I guessed that you were more a NASCAR fan. "Turn to the left, turn to the left, turn to the left." HAAAAAA!!!! Still, can your neighbor introduce me to Djokovic? Better yet, how about his girlfriend?
On the tennis note, I am very glad to see that Serena lost in straight sets. Her bitching and moaning about this, that and the other just gets to me. Starting some low-class fight with the chair umpire this time around? WTF?! She has a habit of conveniently forgetting about those arguments as well.
As for fuuuutbol, you know that I put Spain second against Brasil. Always have. I put both in front of México in terms of my fav teams. That said, Spain is doing pretty well in the Davis Cup (tennis). Ah, but who cares about that....go back to NASCAR! turn turn turn turn lol

Well, not honestly interested, and not actualy seen the match, I AM glad that Nole won... Although come to think of it, it might be better if he didnt. My neighbour happens to be his countryman, and the match is all Ive been hearing about for the last three days...
BUT... I AM very dissapointed that you are glad Nadal lost. I was hoping for at least some kind of revenge after your Spanish won the FIFA world cup last year... No matter, my time will come.
