sorry Necro...but I know absolutely nothing about Cricket...so where even...except you didn't mention Cricket, did you??...hmmm...baseball is our eqivalent to your cricket...and Tommy Lasorda is a beloved former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and a fun loving guy...he's loved by most fans of baseball in general...DF and I just happen to like the team as well...

Ron, well said. I am a HUGE Lasorda fan. LOVE Vinnie (Scully) too! In fact , he is the Dodgers to me.

There are many things to love about Lasorda...talk about dedication??...no one more than him...totally bleeds Dodger Blue and probably the greatest ambassador of the game next to Babe Ruth...unless you get WGN via cable or whatever (the Chicago station that airs our games), you miss out on some great conversations as he makes his way to our booth every time he's in town...loves the Italian restaraunts!!!
