I go for my traditional jog and catch a sign on the way up saying (what I thought) was that they would give a free t-shirt this month for any guy who could run a mile in 1.07 minutes. Well, I did four miles and decided to kick it in for the fifth. Ran almost full-tilt at 9.0 (normal run for me is a 5.8) and I wasn't even CLOSE! Still, finished out my mile and on my way hobbling out the door, I re-read the sign. 1 mile in 7 minutes. HAAAAA!!!!!
I'll probably feel that one tomorrow.

Seems as though the smaller the gadget the pricier it tends to be, especially with ipods vs. CD Players. That's why I still have my CD Player!!! HA!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm getting a wee bit tired, so I'll log off for now and catch me some z's. Goodnight, Guido!!

See, my mosquito theory proven. I should write a book someday about it. Goes right along with my theory about greetings. You tend to get more cheek to cheek kisses the farther south you go. When a male meets a female in Brazil it is two, three in Argentina, almost always one in Mexico, none in the US, rubbing noses in Alaska! LOL! No stealing my idea, now. It'll make me MILLIONS, I tells ya!
Funny you should mention the Berlin wall as VH1 is onto a horrible David Hasslehoff concert as I mini-type! Never been to Germany. Sounds lovely and would love to go myself.
(ok, verdict is in. Sub-notebook is cool but the mouse buttons to the left and right of the trackpad is really difficult. A BIG thumbs up in all other aspects, especially price). | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | I remember visiting my grandma's village in Guerrero, Mexico a few years ago. It was in the jungle, and since it was mid-summer when we came to visit, there were plenty of mosquitos. Those darn things wouldn't leave me alone!! I had bites all over my arms and legs. My mom was born in that village, so she wasn't affected at all. I wanted to go home by the third day.
Classes are going good, except for one. Pre-calculus is kicking my butt right now. I'm getting some help, though, so I'm getting a little better at it. I'm still in German, yes. I'm thinking about going abroad for a semester next year. Don't know whether to go to Berlin or Munich. Maybe Berlin, to see the remains of the Berlin Wall.

A+ in other words! Excellent! Top marks!
Don't know about Dracula but I can extrapolate based on the mosquito. THOSE blood suckers seem to be attracted to foreign blood! Out here in mosquitolandia, I sit next to my foreign friends when I entertain. Better than a citronella candle! My domestic blood goes untouched!
So howse classes? Still in German, I imagine? What is the toughest course this semester?

Well, according to the donor card I recieved after donating a second time, I have A-positive type blood. I've heard it's one of the most common blood types, and I think AB and O-negative types are rare (I'm not sure). So I guess if Dracula were to drink any of my blood, it would be like drinking water. Sometimes makes me wonder if Dracula has a favorite human blood-type.

Well, I probably don't need another shirt as I am the typical guy who sees no need to throw ANY shirt out (hey, my Michigan State wins the '86 Rosebowl still gets laughs), I might just go give a shot at that free wardrobe. I commend you for donating blood, though. Harder than running, IMO. Well...perhaps not running a 1.07 minute mile, LOL, but still. Very nice.
You know, my mother is a hematologist and I really have no idea as to my blood-type. What are you? Anything cool? What is the universal donor? Ahhh...dredging up some long-since forgotten biology lessons. Mom would be ashamed of me.
