Karma. I was watching dodgeball at cubs (I am a cub leader and the littlest kid got me when I wasnt looking) so I am out, fine, I dont profess to be perfect at dodgeball. I am a big target. well, I called out a few kids who were hit and kept playing. one leader got hit. didnt hear me apparently, as the kids didnt. he got hit again. I was now watching quietly with another leader, discussing the idea that we would expect the kids to cheat, not the leaders. got hit a third time, right in the nads. first thing I said to him, Karma is a bitch!!!

I bought a Sony Vio laptop for my business and literally every time I shut it down, there would be a WIndows Vista update. I had to go in and shut down the automatic updates on it. The PC I am typing this on now did the same thing. Other than that, I have been happy with Vista. BUT I was just as happy with XP....

I dont like Vista... every 10 minutes it does a new down load of some crap that I dont need.. I was able to dis-able it somehow... I havent gotten the download update in a while.. I added a new Virus scanner, and firewall, and spam stuff so IDK.. since then I havent gotten any download crap.. Iam just happy that my brother is the computer wiz..

While they run, head to head benchmarks show Vista to be some 35% slower in running apps and, worse for me, GAMES when compared with XP.
Mac OSX has made such a jump in marketshare when compared with buggy ol' Vista that Microsoft is now rumored to push up the release of the next operating system from 2010 to 2009.
Vista will go the way of Windows 2000, if you ask me or any of my tech-nerd friends.

Yup, I agree 100%. I manage a Mac lab and have it set up to dual boot with Windows. First thing I do when setting up a new machine is use a home-brew slipstreamed version of Windows that I have configured to my liking with all the drivers needed. NEVER include XP3 on that custom disk just as I would never think about installing that pig of a resource hog known as Vista (aka. Mojaveeeeeeee! LOL!). Avoid it.
