HA!!! I had a hippy guy at one time and I just could not do the "Dead", but cooincidentally the 84 Hampton Show happened the day before the "Dead" came to play, so we stayed in the car the next night and there was all kinds of stuff going on. Some I remember, and some is just a long trip down rainbow bridge! LOL

One of my summer songs. Had a deal with my hippie girlfriend of the time. She went to follow Priest with me, I went to follow the Dead with her.
Victim or the Crime (yes, I cried when Jerry died).

F***in' great song from a very interesting side project by the Metal god!

His best work solo is Halford though, hands down.

You know, curiosity was killing me to find out what it was about the song that made Al Atkins decide to want to name the band Judas Priest, and listening to it didn't help.  The band's reasoning for it makes sense (light and shade and so forth)...but in the end I have to agree with you, I don't care for it, but if it wasn't for this song, I wonder what they would have named the band??...
