You should try New Orleans.  Everything is above ground since the city is under sea level.  It's very elaborate.

I love old cemetarys.. I actuall go for walk in them.. its so peaceful and quiet,   The older english cemetarys are beautiful..    I love the nostalgic statues, and old stone monuments.. I think its beautiful there.. ( my morbid side)

I grew up right across the street from a cemetary. Everyone in the neighborhood used to walk through it. Nice place to walk. I liked to go back to the old grow over section with stones from the mid 1800's. I'm sure they dont seem that old to someone living in Britain. Must have stones dating back to early AD.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Necroticist from Saturday, March 21, 2009 5:02:12 PM)

Actually i do - wasn't my main 'trade' kinda work...but very relaxing...as u can imagine...in fact i live a stone's throw away from one and often spend time in there....with walkman, flask...and a good book...

I suppose you got an education in funeral flowers. LOL I can grow basil in the garden as long as I mark it really well so my father doesn't run over it with the tiller when he weeds the garden.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Necroticist from Saturday, March 21, 2009 4:22:26 PM)

Nope, an Easter Lily is one of those big white suckers. Very rarely grow in gardens without a lot of care and come out...well, on Easter!

Speaking of which, off to chainsaw I go! CYA'lls.

(ps. throw some on my coffin should I fail to return!)

[guidogodoy] Saturday, March 21, 2009 12:43:50 PM
HAAAA! You must not watch the show "48 hours." In the open air in plastic? No way. Coyote would drag an arm or something right into town. Nope....lye and a 50 gallon drum....(oops, I've said too much).

Necro. Doesn't your wife read / post here. I'd be worried about YOU making a comment like that, compadre! LOL!!! You disappear and we'll klnow.

Off to lunch. Hasta la bye bye

HAAAA!!!! Yeah, right. Damn things just seem to pop up around the yard every year.

Surprised fuzzball hasn't dug them up already. I spared you one shot of the crater he dug right NEXT to that first close up! I could easily plant a tree in the hole.

Some flowers just for you, Vail! I thought you'd prefer the pictures in the daytime as opposed to last night. Hot off the presses.

The creature that made the area void of all grass came out to look to see what I was doing.

Got 'em way in the backyard (gotta burn today or tomorrow as well, obviously...beer by the bonfire anyone?)

And WAAAY down in the front yard (look closely...by the tree / drive). I ask you...what is prettier than a flower. Wait, don't answer that and I can come up with a few things myself. They ARE pretty, though! LOL! Enjoy!
