The in and out of the curtain thing was pretty cool.
I was younger. Some paper,
to enhance the whole thing if you know what I mean.
I was about 6 rows back and watching that was pretty
trippy. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, April 15, 2010 9:01:58 AM)

Dangerous Toys was laughable in Detroit but, boy, didn't they pack the place when Priest took the stage. Alice jumping in and out of the screen? The big balls he flipped around (oh yeah...and I don't mean his own)? Dyn-o-mite! (Quoting Message by Budred from Thursday, April 15, 2010 5:52:07 AM)

Too bad. Despite him being a "home town boy," I never wanted to see him....until a JP concert rolled around. JP played before Alice (absurd, I say). But DAMN good show! I went for Priest but would see Alice again in a second. It is a theater. There was no option NOT to get involved with the crowd.

The first time I saw Alice Cooper was 1987 with Motorhead opening up.
What a kickass show. He was still doing the blood and guts thing. I still
remember him doing Only Woman Bleed. He had this hot chick on stage
dressed like a hooker. During the song he comes up behind her and cuts
her throat. At the end of the song he's standing over her singing the last
chorus when she reaches up and stabs him in the gut. It was cool!
