HAAA! I remember playing "Trapped Under Ice" for Pops once when I was in college. BLASTING through Bose speakers.
Nope, wasn't thrilled. LOL!!!! Funny as all these years he thought my little bro was the one dragging me to the numerous Priest shows we have seen across the country. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Saturday, March 13, 2010 12:07:55 AM)

Becks. I wish my family has such exquisite taste in music. They either don't care for metal or hate JP with a passion (in my niece's case it's the latter).

How can anyone hate JP! LOL! My family aren't metal heads either, my mum likes Neil Diamond and Lady GaGa, YUCK. My sister is a bit better, her favourite band is Led Zep. Craig is a metal head too, otherwise I wouldn't be able to live with him But I don't really have any close friends around who are metal heads, which is a bit sad.
Yep Guido definite street cred for him lol. He leant me his JP CDs YEARS ago but I was only able to listen to one, and it was so long ago that I don't remember which one it was. Wish I had paid more attention then. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Saturday, March 13, 2010 12:07:55 AM)

I figured. Lake Tahoe and Mammoth are very far from each other. Wouldn't make much sense to lodge in Lake Tahoe and make the long drive to Mammoth. Tahoe is very nice, by the way. I went there in late May a few years ago and there was still snow in the mountains.

You can tell that at 1am+ I am not terribly involved in this whole situation. I am just hoping the bottle of Port I have stuffed into my skiboot doesn't break in transit.

Thanks but I am not exactly sure where I am going! LOL!!! I have yet to pack save for my ski gear. Pop got a condo rental by Lake Tahoe and I am hoping he picks me up in Sacramento where said Tía Lola lives. I hear they (you?) are getting a good snowfall today.

No. I have never had good Mexican outside of México or the US and even the US is iffy at best. Too much oil.
About off for Northern CA tomorrow morn for a little alpine skiing. While tía Lola makes a great posole, nothing compares to my favorite spot right off of the Paseo de la Reforma or Guanajuato. Then again, I am picky! HAAA!!!!!

Really? I've just been wondering as to how much a difference there is between Mexican food made here and the Mexican food made overthere in Europe (or if they even make it). Only one way to find out: travel to that continent, of course!
