Ghost are influenced by a small dose of this Black Widow band and was a sample to member "Hell Bent For Judas" this is why I posted it.
(Ghost) I really wish I would be the only one who does like it,but someone else posted something positive. That should be it though. This isn't a band that I'll push to people but I like posting about them from time to time. The Mushroomhead crack was a stab at you. Although I'm no music police,so my opinion is irrelevant and doesn't mean anything.

I made it past the boring intro but it lost me with the saxophones.
I'll just enjoy my nu metal while you enjoy that 60's pop or whatever you would call that.

"Demolition" (CD) by JUDAS PRIEST
I tried to listen to that "Ghost" video below.
I made it to about the twenty five second mark and was bored to death.
Thank goodness for Nu Metal, I would hate to have to listen to stuff like that.
To each his own I guess.

The German opera Lulu is based in is very strange too (it shocked audiences when it debuted) but it's now regarded a masterpiece. The style that Lou Reed and Metallica have used is not new and it's been around for a long time. It's a typical New York style and has had me go through the original opera and I actually enjoy it. My only pet peeve is that there were no melodic references to the opera.
But it's weird and I like it. If Rob Halford is Nostradamus, then James Hetfield can be the Table.
...other than maybe early Pink Floyd or Hawkwind, or possibly Frank Zappa, this has got to be the
strangest shit I've ever listened to. The most out there lyrics that I've ever heard, spoken word, trippy music,
heavy music. This thing is all over the place. I listened to this yesterday and I know I busted out loud laughing
at the strangeness of the lyrics at least five times. Listen to this, it will blow your mind. (...or confuse the shit out of it. (LOL))

GHOST - "Elizabeth" 2010 off the Debut LP "Opus Eponymous"
I changed my mind about Ghost,I am a fan and this album is brilliant. This is "late 60's rock" with influences from early to mid 70's rock
that has many hints of heavy metal heavily influenced by early Mercyful Fate.
Very satanic and done the old school way instead of a progressive nu-styled shit sound. This sounds like it was recorded in 1975. Excellent album.
