I totally agree - were at their worst whenever Nik Turner returned, some shows were legendary...dunno if u seen the video 'Night Of The Hawks' - was recorded in Ipswich - i'm on it..and the show absolutely sucked. Bob Calvert? omg...he was a complicated man...his ideas and lyrics were awesome...but sadly we lost him..i gotta admit i preferred Hawkwind without him. No - never roadied Motorhead - but Lemmy did used to stay here with a friend - til he tried to pull his wife...met him several times over the years.
