I'm jealous that you got to keep them- the one I had out was growing sideways (yes, sideways) in my mouth so it had to be removed in bits under local anesthetic. Still, it could have been worse, when I arrived at the dental hospital they were under the impression that I was supposed to have a general anesthetic... 
Maybe you should have them put on cufflinks like the gangster in The Great Gatsby?
