Thirty people?! And you should see the amount of food we have to make Christmas dinner for seven... shame about your weather- we've had a tonne of snow in Manchester which is very unusual these days so yesterday was a lot of fun, except for we nearly didn't make it back from church as it's all uphill and there were a few scary moments. Sadly that is probably our lot for Christmas, fog and rain all the way from now on.

GOOOOOOOOD Morning, kiddies!!! Another gloomy day here in Vegas. They say we MAY get a bit of snow tomorrow! I doubt it but, who knows??? Fire is lit, tree is on and I am safe in my chair. All is right with the world until it is time to go to band practice. The Princess is heading out shortly to finish up the Holiday Shopping and then we are in a "holding pattern" until Thursday! Going to the in-laws for Christmas Eve and guess who has to make stuffed mushrooms for THIRTY people?? Spa, I just saw it on Facebook! OMG it was HILARIOUS!! I was laughing so hard I almost started crying! The boys and Mark watched it too and laughed themselves silly. It's all in good fun, thanks for sharing it!!

I think its because the buttercream contains an emulsion, which separates when frozen.

The frosting isn't freezer burnt because it still tastes GREAT! But something happens to buttercream frosting when it is frozen and it loses its consistency. Becks is right, it falls off the cake and it just kind of puddles. But heck, it still tastes good as long is you wrap that baby up really good
