The last four days at work we had the radio on a decent station for once, heard plenty of Queen (who I love at the moment), Led Sep, all the good stuff. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Monday, August 20, 2018 8:20:17 PM)

@guido... Fuckin A Glenn's SLIDE SOLO in Flame Thrower is one of my FAVORITE solos of all time and I'm not just saying that cause the album is new,it's among my favorite already! Fuckin thing is just fuckin BAD ASS man,it fuckin RULZ and is my favorite guitar solo on the album...
LOVE how he rolls in after Ritchie's killer solo and it just BURNS right in with Glenn's signature style unmistakably Glenn,and those pinching harmonics at the end he does totally REEKS of Tipton's kick ass style... definitely my top 5 Tipton guitar solos.....
Fuck I love that solo,every time I hear it I'm automatically making air guitar moves and a funny face while I do it I'm sure of lol. A+ solo for Mr. Tipton I hope he does a couple more solos like this on the next album!
@ Head Banger....
stun definition:
knock unconscious or into a dazed or semiconscious state. "the man was strangled after being stunned by a blow to the head" synonyms: daze, stupefy, knock unconscious, knock out, lay out "a glancing blow stunned Gary" astonish or shock (someone) so that they are temporarily unable to react. "the community was stunned by the tragedy" synonyms: astound, amaze, astonish, dumbfound, stupefy, stagger, shock, take aback;
Technically a flamethrower can STUN you if your running and get hit from behind knocks you to the ground and get back up running again .... obviously I've been hit from behind from a flamethrower many times to be able to causally tell you what it feels like,clearly lol!

Damn good version even with James muffing the lyrics (again) and Kirk giving a shortened solo (again).
Still nice to see they can pull it off. Kirk, especially.

1:39. Gretchen hits that note and Nancy spins to look at her with that "hells yeah!" stare. I just listened to it again with headphones.
That BASS line! Especially at the end. Friggin' great! Better than the original, IMO.

I think I read about that 2nd drummer before. Damn. Been a while! Too bad that image is so small. Would've been cool to read the details on it.
It is an article/review of Turbo tour with dokken, I found it interesting because it mentioned jonathan valen, the other drummer that was reportedly used by priest on the tour but denied asto how much his input was do to Hollands limitations, anyone who has seen the live DVD has watched the part when he pretty much handcuffs himself trying to play fast (IMO as acolyte)

Hmmm...sorry dudes, writing's too small on that image. What's it say?
If someone could fix the article below that would be awesome, it is about the drummer playing in the turbo set to help with the drumming duties -cheers Acolyte
Byford lays some serious smackdown here. Love some of the comments. Yes, Dee DID write all the songs for Twisted Sister! They had a farewell tour? Damn! I missed it! LOL!!!! Ass-clown!
