Irrespective, I find it a bit unsettling to find "Tennessee Rednecks" followed by a "Hi guido!" LOL!!! You trying to say something there?!

I heard the same thing. They did the same thing here. The lines at the gas stations were just terrible. If they would have stayed calm, none of this would have happened. I have a little Pontiac, so I get good millage on mine. $20.00 will last me all week.

Nope. Seems like we were worst in the nation from the reports I have heard. Haven't seen photos of people lining up for gas like those shown in Nashville since the wonderful Carter era. Although I could really use it out here in the country, I am glad I don't own a big ol' truck like most around me.

De carne! Por Dios! You have to ask...

Kat. Only thing I get from the locals that were shut down here is that the hurricane shut down supply. I can believe it as that storm hit us HARD! We have more trees down than during the last tornado bout. Been chainsawing / burning like crazy all last week.

Say, Kat, you get any of that "no gas" nastiness I hear was all over Nashville? We had two stations shut down for a bit in the city here.

WELL HAPPY TYRANT THURSDAY TO ALL.

HEAD BANGER - IT MAY HAVE BEEN COLD BUT I KNOW IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I WAS IN BANFF AND JASPER PARK ON A BUSINESS TRIP ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AN I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE BEAUTY. I REMEMBER LANDING IN CALGARY AND DRIVING UP TO BANFF WHEN THE MOUNTIANS JUST OVERWHELMED US. LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY I'D NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE.

I LIVED IN AUSTRIA WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE AND TRAVELED TO SWITZERLAND ALMOST EVERY DAY. AND WHEN I TELL FRIENDS THAT WESTERN CANADA IS MORE BEAUTIFUL THE LOOK AT ME WITH SHOCK.

[Head banger] Wednesday, September 24, 2008 10:40:33 PM
I am from Calgary, AB, Canada.  but that cold was in Edmonton, 2.5 hours north.  it left, but I wasnt ready to scrape frost off the windshield.

Hi my Metal Family.... Head banger.. It was beautiful over here in Manitoba today..
A little chilly this Morn, the wind picked up alot.. but by afternoon.. not a cloud in the sky.   And The fall colours are spectacular.. I havent had a day like this in Years.. Iam cherishing every moment.. If I was in Montana  the air would be filled with smoke from the forest fires.  and everything would just turn Brown.. No fall colours, its so dry there..

I hope everyone had a great wed.

Love and Hugs to you all..

MG~
