Yep! LOL! I like a range of metal personally, but Priest is at the top of my list!
Right, Craig will be home any second and we need to walk the dog LOL! Nice chatting with ya Vail, catch you later!

Yup!! My older nephew (same one for whom I bought the beaded gecko) likes that kind of music. One day I offered to lend him a Metallica album (Kill 'Em All) as I remembered he was a Metallica fan....but he said he didn't like "old-school metal". To each their own, I guess...different strokes for different folks, you know?

Yeah the music in the song itself isn't too bad, could do with a slight tidy up, but yeah, the singer is crap! LOL! It's a shame that kids these days seem to think this is what metal is all about - ah well they will find out one day LOL!

That's really a shame, too. Sounds like that song has great potential...if only the singer could just actually sing the lyrics and not growl them.

Awww that sucks! I'm always up for giving people Priest tunes to check out, especially those who seem to think heavy metal is this sort of shit:

I can't stand bands where all the singer does is scream and growl, it just goes to show they can't actually sing. Plus proper, original metal, is just so much better! LOL!

Rock Forever is a great song!!! A few weeks ago I lent a co-worker of mine my SFV album, and he liked it!! His favorite song was You've Got Another Thing Comin'. Doesn't look like he'll become a Priest fanatic, though, especially since he just quit. Sucks...   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Tuesday, September 01, 2009 10:39:26 PM)

It's a brilliant album, got a bit of a funky vibe to it which I think works well a friend asked me for Priest song recommendations, I told her to listen to Rock Forever and she was like woah he's got a set of pipes! about Rob, and I was like hell yes! Rock Forever is a great song for displaying Robs vocal ability.

You know what I do when I have dishes to wash? Listen to JP music from a stereo while washing! I used to do that alot when I had to wash dishes while my mom was at work and I had to stay home. Listening and singing (to myself) to the music makes the chore fun!

Hot glue doesn't hold for shit! Glass can stand up to the fire of a Kiln. If it was glued on I wouldn't have bought it.

Oh, piece of cake! With the right master, I am a quick learner! Lump of clay, wet it down, stick those suckers on loading the beads on a needle or coat hanger.

Hey, if it proves too difficult, I could always cop out and do the very common "stick a broken mirror" all over it. Two colored ones for eyes. Got it covered. Funny, as my mother has a planter in the form of a huge duck on her porch (came from Mexico, of course) for the longest time. My sister and I are going to fight over that giant disco-ball looking sucker! It is an heirloom!

Ok, sorry to say that the party must end. Did a five mile run with hills today and, while all hot and sweaty, decided to run my computer over to the office where I got to doing a bit of prep work for tomorrow. That was hours ago and I think I must smell as Calvin won't come near me.

Always a pleasure, ladies. CYAlls laters!

Orrrrr...you can make the clay sculpture, let it dry, then hot-glue the beads onto it, and work your way around the sculpture section by section!!

Bet it's harder than what is looks. those are very tiny beads! Got to keep them in place and remove the excess clay without getting the sculpture too wet.

Actually, I don't think they're that hard to make. I bought one for my older nephew (a cool gecko one) when my mom and I went to Puerto Vallarta two years ago. Looks like all you need to do is design the pattern, set tiny beads onto a clay sculpture, and voila! Instant seller!!

Hmmm, I'm sorting through old bills etc and found an old unopened letter from the electoral office for Craig, I hope it wasn't anything important   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by spapad from Tuesday, September 01, 2009 9:54:28 PM)
