It is a conundrum, isn't it? Some of us love this place because this is where we met some of our best friends and fellow JP compadres. The band is what brought many of us together, and even with changes in social media, we still stick around and talk about anything and everything (even non JP-related). Every once in a while there would come along a few trolls and oftentimes they're either easy to ignore or they get banned fairly quickly with help from the community. These friendships and community-driven moderation, as well as the freedom to talk about anything, are part of that was what made this message board so appealing. Recently, these trolls have made themselves so present that it's hard to ignore even with the button, recent reporting efforts of vile messages have been in vain, and many members had refrained from posting due to all that has been going on. In addition, the Webmaster has not banned anyone or anything, and I don't see this changing anytime soon. Essentially, we've been left on our own.
Essentially, either we get all along or continue to destroy ourselves like this.
