I like the speed skating they're showing now cos it's short and fast, lol. The stuff they had on the other day was longer and I lost interest after a few laps.

In the early days before biathlon became a sport discipline they all carried the full backs n shoot with large caliber weapons like the .308 Winchester caliber. Since the 70th they're shooting with small bore (.22 lfb).

I was also thinking the EXACT same thing about the "ski and shoot" event yesterday. Now running on SNOWSHOES and shooting, THERE would be a sport! Watching them trip over tennis racquets tied to their feet, guns going off by accident shooting the guy running in front of you.... |

I am so sorry to have missed all the "fun" yesterday but, as I have someone that I do love, I made the decision to spend that very special day with her! AH! What a fine day it was, too. Apparently, I made the right choice. Nothing worse than seeing someone give away their dignity.
Well, looks as if we are going to have another sunny, warm day here in Vegas!! Woo Hoo!! Always better for me. Olympics are on a bit later so I believe it is time for a cup of coffee and the paper...and perhaps some of my "crappy" music? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Morning! |
