Unfortunately, there is nothing "funny" about it at all, Susan...(my apologies). It is pathetic. People that struggle to commune with others in their "real" lives have difficulty doing the same here in the "cyber world" and yet, the opportunities to find acceptance are far greater! There is a reason he has no friends here. He does not possess even the most rudimentary social skills.
I have always preferred to believe that there is a place for everyone here among us. I want to believe that. Of course, there is always the odd loser than simply must make a name for himself through malfeasance. Why? I do not know. Perhaps an insatiable desire for some kind of superiority without substance? Perhaps a poor childhood? Clearly, the upbringing was less than sufficient as there is not even the slightest example of manners displayed. That is sad in and of itself.
He is absolutely correct, he can post wherever he wants and say almost anything. I have seen nothing that is "offensive" (other than his behavior in general) and I do not believe his urge to be noticed will dissipate anytime soon so I fear we are stuck with another thorn for a while. Ah, there must be two very proud parents somewhere in this world...... |
