 You are absolutely right Guido - there is NOTHING better!! Tailgating at Munn field.... watching all the idiots light their couches on fire. People used to bring their ENTIRE living rooms, just packed it up in pick-up trucks and then set it out on the grass. Man, what a PARTY!! Now they turned Munn field DRY!! Can you believe that? NO ALCOHOL!!? At least then you had all the drunks contained within the fence - and we didn't hurt anyone. It was sort of like being in the zoo, people would pass by and look at us  . And then we'd all go to the game and sit in the student section and have a BLAST! Nothing like it that's for sure!

Well, it's been another interesting week, among other things...a worker strike at a plant in India has caused Ford to shut down yesterday in Chicago and for all of next week...arrrrrrggghhhh!!!! Just when things are starting to roll, ya know?! Ford DID post a profit again for the second straight quarter!!
On a lighter side, one of my brothers is taking me to South Bend to see Notre Dame host Navy today...50 yard line and about a 3rd of the way up on the Notre Dame side of the stadium. Never been to a college football game before, but I think I'm gonna enjoy seeing the campus, Touchdown Jesus, and to experience the general atmosphere of it all!!! |

Oh I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree! Nothing makes me sadder at this time of year than not being able to attend a Big 10 game having done it at MSU for so many years. While I should despise them, I really have a soft spot for the University of Michigan (except when they play MSU) as my big sister took me to many a game at "The Big House." 100,000 people?! Come on! Ali Haji Sheikh?! What a shoeless wonder! Heck, I have even been to see quite a few Notre Dame games with Touchdown Jesus when I lived in Indiana.

Oh MAN!!!! Ron, you are in for the time of your life!!! What a wonderful experience! College football is unlike anything you will ever experience. NOTHING like a Pro game! I much prefer the college games, man. Such passion and tradition. Spent so much of my time at games while in school. LOVED it. You'll see what I mean when you get there. I cannot tell you how much I envy you right now. College football (at a REAL school) is probably the very BEST sporting event you can attend! Have fun, my friend!

BTW, if you get the chance to go to see the new "A Christmas Carol" GO!!! Saw it tonight. Wow 3D has come a long way and this movie was pretty damn good! The lighting is just of the period, the effects are awesome! I loved it. You know a movie is good when the audience feels compelled to applaud at the end of it.

BTW, if you get the chance to go to see the new "A Christmas Carol" GO!!! Saw it tonight. Wow 3D has come a long way and this movie was pretty damn good! The lighting is just of the period, the effects are awesome! I loved it. You know a movie is good when the audience feels compelled to applaud at the end of it.

For the kids? Personally, I think the whole family should be involved in taking care of a dog. If it's just for the kids, then the dog won't stay with them for too long. The less the dog gets to know the adults, the more likely it'll distance itself from them or react in a negative manner if they come too close. Here's an idea! Go to the SPCA and ask about pamphlets or books that talk about proper pet care. Buy them and stuff them into the neighbors' mailbox while they're still away. Oh! And look innocent when they ask you about them when they get back.

oviously does not give a shi? about the dog going away for a entire weekend leaving it out like that.i would be very tempted to go over there unleash the dog and bring it home and when the owner gets back try to adopt it from them.

Next time you go away on holiday buy a postcard and mail it to him. On the back have nothing but his name and address and "You are a loser" written on it. He'll be torturing himself wondering why the hell someone in Rarotonga has sent him this.
