The Last Crusade was good too...I like Temple of Doom - the kid from the Goonies was in it.

having never been to oz I dont know how the drivers there compare, but unless your off the main roads into some older area that you probably should never go to anyway, the LA roads are great and the drivers are much nicer than they are here. people I know tell me that the wheel on the other side makes it easier. being a pedestrian is harder, you look the wrong way before you cross. My Dad went to Australia once and rented a car. He said he wish he hadn't bothered as when he would get to where he wanted to be he'd always be on the wrong side of the road and have to turn around. But, for the most part, US highways are simple. So you'll probably have no problems. I would have huge problems thinking backwards. lol [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Friday, December 10, 2010 11:50:40 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | LOL Craig will be doing the driving, not me. I owe SO MUCH to this band. They pulled me into a musical direction and gave me the instrument to play way back in the late 70's and I will be forever in their debt.
It is a retirement well deserved. Priest has SO many accomplishments and I know they can all look back on their careers with heads held high. I truely believe that Judas Priest took metal in the early 70's and pushed it so much further than what Black Sabbath could do. They took it away from blues based heavy rock and forged it into something so powerful that even Sabbath emulated it and nowhere near as good. They gave us the look and the sound that we ALL associate with heavy metal....LONG LIVE JUDAS PRIEST....
I put this to Justin on Facebook yesterday and want to say it here as well. If anyone wants to do a pilgrimage to a show on the final tour and if you live in NY or PA or OH or where ever let us know. You can find me on Facebook ( Phillip Ewing, North Tonawanda, NY or the Takken band page ) or let me know on here...... |

No wait. I see the problem. The offer was from, go figure, Nashville but the tix were for Atlanta. "Local pickup only."
So someone would have to go to Nashville to get the tix and then go to Atlanta to see the concert! Therein lies the problem.
Ok, now there are four tix ready to be relisted. I need three friends. Oh, let's be real, I need four as I can only pick them up.

Good organization for the benefit of leukemia, cancer and AIDS research but, man, I gotta take myself off of their mailing list. I think that they are making adults sick.
Sad part is that someone bought it. I hope it was in the name of a good cause. Personally, I'd just freely give the $ and skip meeting Donny Osmond Jr. if I had that much cash to blow. |
