I come here everyday, just about. Think I"ll continue to do so. But that's my choice. I read other boards too. This is just the kind of hobby I enjoy. I've also come to know a couple of the "actor" off-stage - lol
Anyway, the tour was incredible! I saw a fantastic show in San Antonio and then again the next night here in Corpus Christi. Still don't know how the guys could play with all the humidity and heat! I'm sure I would have dropped the axe on my foot!!!  But that's why they're the Gods, and I'm a fan!  |

Well, I don't get to come here day in and day out like a few years ago. I come here once or twice a year to check my favorite band, hang around for a while and then shake my head for yet another sad episode of Noticeboard melodrama by the same actors. The very same. A repeat of the previous year and the year before that.
Now that the tour is over, I don't see the point of hanging around except to catch up on what went on while the tour was in full force.

It is sad. You recall in the past when members have vented publicly about why there is no moderation. We all have the tools at our disposal to ignore, etc., some use them, with more frequency than others. These tools work only when they are used. I have noticed Admin visits more regularly. And that makes me feel better about visiting more regularly myself. I think you are one of many members that can post without shame. I'm sure others will agree. Now with me and some of my tendencies ... that's a different story - lol ; )

I have been here for years and yet I am not the "longest" surviving member. Perhaps some more time away? I don't know. I love my friends here. I even have a certain fondness for those that are not so friendly to me. All part of what makes us a family. I still believe that. I do. We are family. A family in turmoil to be sure. |

Showers?(lol!) I'm not laughing at you for asking...I'm thinking to myself how these people are down there...but no there are no showers...and yeah I have to go home like that...
I don't have to shovel shot every day....only once in a long while...when I am doing my normal job every day I still get filthy working with the shot and the oxide(sand blast)...I still
sand blast but I am back in shot peen...I sand balst when there is not much work in shot peen...but I do other odd ball jobs for my supervisor..ect..... I've worked at my company
for almost 20 years now....when the original owners sold the place to their sons...it kinda went down hill from there(nothing to do with the economy here)....I may bitch about
my job and all...(because I need to or it will get locked up inside)...but I never forget how lucky I really am to still have it...make no mistake about that!! I am glad to be still working!!!
Yeah becks...it can be hard work...if I was to do that every day...but when everything is smooth.....I don't get as dirty....but the days that I don't get that filthy I am still sweating my butt off
because I pump out so much more work than most...its in my blood..I am a hustler and a quick worker...I am a production worker...I get paid by the hour so I will get the same amout of
money if I do 3 jobs a day or 30....I always do as many as I can which is more than 85% of the otherworkers there...I can't help it...the more I do the faster time rolls on down there!!! LOL!

A couple days away from the norm does wonders...much different than just a regular weekend off work...everyone needs time to download and recharge...I've had plenty of time off work with plant shutdowns and all, but I never go anywhere...I need a change of scenery, even just for a couple days...but soon, very soon!!! lolololol
