I pretty much agree except I think it was everything after Black that killed them more so than just that CD.
I wouldn't see them now either and there was a time when I wasn't sure anyone(except Priest) was better than them live.

Hey Budred,I've always thought that ...And Justice For All was a decent LP,just not as good as the previous 3 of course, but they were trying to stay in the same frame of mind except they went more commercial with the "One" video.
But "if" they would of just stayed with the sucess of the And Justice For All sound,look/image,attitude and songwritting and harken back to earlier albums,we would of got some decent albums over the years from them, but it was "Cliff" who kept them in the frame of mind they were in,even when he died. It was 1990 or 91' when the Black album came out that was the death of the band Metallica as we knew it.
At least I saw them on the Master Of Puppets tour in 1986,Seattle Arena and it was awsome, back then they didn't "suck" as you know and when I saw them they only had the first 3 LPs out and the concert was vintage. Now I hate the band with a passion. You couldn't pay me $100.00 bucks to go see them live, couldn't do it.
