Agree. I had no reason to think that there was any sort of combo. Yeah, I could have bought the Blu-ray, ripped the audio and segmented up the songs and burned them to CD (phew) but just easier to buy the CD and make the usual copies for my car and daily play + Blu-ray that I'll likely convert to DVD to keep the file small and be able to play on my other machines / backup on HD.

BTW, HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!!

Nope. Quite frankly I always thought that it would be three separate items.

DVD is worth the buy, though. Amazing from start to finish. Excellent and absolutely surreal performance by the metal gods and a great and exciting crowd to go with it.

As for the CD? Well, let's just say that it will be staying in my car CD player for a loooooooooooong time, methinks.

In a nutshell: BUY IT!!!

is it just me , or did the way the promotion was worded for Battle Cry read that it was a Blu-ray CD or DVD CD combo not 3 separate items ???

Wonder if they sell tickets just to watch the show? After all, Hollywood isn't too far from me. Only problem might be the lack of Glenn...again.

Saw Slayer for the first time Monday. New venue to me, I quite liked the setup. Beer garden in the back, a rail, and then an open area in the front, where anyone underage or not drinking could go.

Opener was Carcass. not familar with them, did a good set
Testament was next, great set, played some older stuff, very nice to see them
Slayer was good, glad I saw them

Highlite was testament. That and the roughly 1 million posters with prohibited acts and items that listed moshing and crowd surfing as grounds for ejection. Then all 3 bands encouraged the mosh pits.....

No worries. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

LOL to see 49 messages posted but ONE came through! Too funny. What a loon.

As for the computer fix? Java was the culprit on mine. Same problem as described below. Ran a scan, found some malware, deleted and reinstalled Java. Did the trick. HAD to be something cross-platform as it was happening on some of my Macs and some of my PCs (others, I hadn't used all that much so they never updated). BTW, I always manually update anyway as I've seen that issue before.

Oddly enough it works on my tablet but not my PC. Hopefully the problem will be resolved.

It happened to me only once, and it has been normal ever since, so far.

Is anyone else having problems with the new page banner falling too low and covering up the Top menu section. I can't see the whole Topics, etc.. bar.

VERY glad to see it wasn't the cut / cut / cut of the last video release from Priest. Like Bud commented, it was just distracting.
This looks to be wonderful. Deserves a share.

Well, thanks for the 411 (used the same # for info in Canada?) and, yes, I envy you. Tell Psycho Miko I said hi (too bad no Rocky George...HE was a killer guitarist).

Opener was rival sons. out of Long beach. They are.... interesting. the keyboard player is very high energy. musically, not sure what they are. I need not see them again.

Vail, yep, Dio is missed. I have seen sabbath with Dio, Martin and now Ozzy. I would for sure rate Dio sabbath as the best

Thanks for the review, HB! They were here in Cali early last month and will be back in September. Still on the fence about it, though. If I DO go, it would be for Tony and Geezer (yeah, still miss Dio).

Nice! A quick and to the point review. Kind of you to mention the resident trollls too. You were always too kind, HB.

Might just have to try to catch this one as I have no big concerts on the horizon. Just Costa Rica and Brazil. Now, to see if the dates match anything I can actually attend!

Who was their warm-up band(s)?

Ladies and gents. and trolls too. I went and saw Black Sabbath last night. great show. Ozzy is showing his wear, but Geezer and Tony were great

Duly enjoyed Acolyte! Thanks!

Really glad to see that the camera wasn't all "jumping around" like the last vid. THAT was a bloody mess. Just film the band! Nothing more is really needed for the Metal Gods!

Metal Gods!!!!!!!!!!!

I like what I'm hearing/seeing, so far! Just too bad the video keeps choking.

http://loudwire.com/judas-priest-metal-gods-exclusive-premiere/  i agree Guido, Richie has more than stepped in and filled the shoes , and a special one off show with KK back would be great , meanwhile enjoy this

[guidogodoy] Wednesday, March 02, 2016 6:21:42 PM
Deep Purple now in the R&R Hall of Fame? PRIEST PRIEST PRIEST!!! I'd sign a petition for that and pay big $ to get that tour going even if it is a one-off!!

That said, Richie is a KILLLER and RoS is just outstanding. Still, I am with KK in that they should NOT do the goofy Maiden three-guitar nonsense and don't think that Richie would mind stepping aside for a show or two (hopefully close to me ).
