Hi Blamly...
Yeah Ron, I feel so bad for his wife. On the other hand, he put up a good fight and had a positive outlook right up to the end. I thought he was a great actor, when I was an early teen he was pretty popular. Like in Nort and South, Dirty Dancing, but I must admit I think my favorite movie that he made has to be Too Wong Fu. I just loved how he pulled that role off.
Also Keith Floyd also died (anyone remember him?) Yet another Cancer victim, Ok he technically died of a heart attack but he was also suffering from bowel cancer. Is it just me or is there an abnormal rise in cancers these days?
Makes me wonder if we're totally missing something here. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ron h from Monday, September 14, 2009 8:41:55 PM) | | ron h wrote: | | Did anyone see that Patrick Swayze died? |

I can so see that being America in the not so far future! LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Monday, September 14, 2009 8:22:16 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | LOL! Wall-E is awesome! The fat people on the hover seats cracked me up LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | Have you ever seen Disney's Walle movie? Doubt you have, but of course I have! The people on that movie remind me of America in 25 years! So fat, you'd have to give them all their own motorized transportation just to get around. The Handicap zone at stores is going to grow to the first 10 parking spots in each lane being for the "handicapped". | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Full-figured, as we call them here! LOL!!!
Guess I'll never have that chance. Cleared three acres yesterday, ran four miles after and have a 13 miler coming up tomorrow. What fun. | | Becks wrote: | | LOL that's random! You're right, too thin? OMG go on this register or whatever! Too fat? Big loud and proud baby! lol. I saw an ad for a TV show where some obese English people go to some camp run by an obese American lady, to try and teach them to be proud of their, er, curves. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Well, DAMN, THAT is where I should be buying my clothes! I actually had a good friend of mine from Spain have her Dr. tell her that he'd have to report her as anorexic if she lost more weight. She was dumbfounded. "We all weigh much less in MY country," she explained.
Struck me as odd that you would have to report a person as being too skinny but being too fat? Never! | | Becks wrote: | | Some places stock regular and tall sizes, but mostly its one length - we don't have the population base to stock all different leg lengths apparently. Load of bollocks I reckon. And very annoying for all us 5'2" types LOL. | | spapad wrote: | | Dont they sell Jeans in Petite, Average, and Tall there? I would hate to get things taken up all the time, especially since sewing machines scare me somewhat! Got terrorized by one in a fashion class in college ages ago and I hate to use them!
"American July"? WTF? Is this like waiting for a Movie to go from Cinema to DVD? LOL | | Becks wrote: | | Not bad thanks! Been up since sparrows fart (very early), taken the dog for a run, taken my new jeans to a tailor in town to get taken up - damn being short LOL! Also popped in to the toy store to ask about ordering in some lego. I showed the lady what I wanted in the latest lego catalogue, she asked another worker if they could order it in. This lady was like yeah when it's realeased. The girl who was helping said oh it says it was released in July, to which the other lady says 'American July'. WTF is American July?! LMAO! July is July no matter where you are. I worked out she meant America IN July (therefore here later), but I was like huh?! LOL. | | spapad wrote: | | Hello Becks! I bet better than either of us! HA!! Sober, steady hands and height! Much better than us, so I just have to rent here the industrial headphones to block noises as her "I love it loud" gene hasn't kicked in yet! LOL
Wall-e Seen it a few times, it's pretty cute. She's gonna need them when she towers over all of us! LOL | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Teach her to ski...wax her feet! | | spapad wrote: | | At this time I'm wishing Flora had that problem. She wears a 9/12 to 10 shoe already, which is bigger than my feet, and she's not even as tall as me yet, lacking about 3 inches. I feel with her family background, she will go about 5'11" to 6'. | | Becks wrote: | | It does suck. It's funny, when I was like 12 I was really tall compared to other girls. I then stopped growing and haven't grown and inch since, while everyone else shot up like a weed LOL! | | spapad wrote: | | That would seriously suck to have to have everthing altered, just adds unnecessarily to the cost of the clothing! | | Becks wrote: | | Some places stock regular and tall sizes, but mostly its one length - we don't have the population base to stock all different leg lengths apparently.
