Beautiful words, Joe. You will recover from this eventually, it'll just take time. I am so sorry you lost your lovely friend.

Wow. That was a really moving entry. You have me in tears here. I've never looked at it in that way before, but from now on I will. Hang in there, Joe. It'll take time, but you'll get there eventually. :)

Hey guys 'n girls...

We had the funeral yesterday. Was an incredibly hard day for every single person there. The Church was packed and I think there may have even been a seating shortage. As sombre and heartbreaking as the service was, the Pastor said some amazing things and if I can for a minute of your time take a leaf out of his book, he did not preach about 'repenting your sins etc' but rather about living each day to its fullest. Grasp this life with both hands and get stuck right in there. We never ever have tomorrow, we only have today so lets grab it, live it and enjoy every second of it.

If you have a problem with someone in your life, sort it out or cut it free. You just never know. There is so much that I wanted to still say and do with Hymne, those dreams are gone now, forever. What I do have is the most amazing memories of what we had as close friends, when I look at her boys, her parents and her boyfriend, I think of how much I'm hurting (trust me, it is a very deep seering pain)  yet it is a fraction compared to what they are going through and I'm gutted by seeing how much they are hurting.

If there is something you have been wanting to do, but keep putting off. Please, do it before it is too late. Never stop dreaming, never stop learning and never ever stop loving life.

I also want to say a huge thank you to the friends here who have been a huge comfort to me in this horrible, horrible time of my life. Bare with me folks.. I'll be back to my 'loose canon' of a Joe soon lol

Yeah, I spend a lot of time in the south of Spain and that is quite similar.

Never realized it was a German adaptation as well. Thanks. Always glad to learn new things.

"Gott" do you mean God?

I am not bad at Arabic and that is pretty darn close! Allah.

It's a combination of two German words:

"herüber" - "Across", "Over"
"Wachsen" - "Growth" (not "waxing")

Herüberwachsen - "rüberwachsen" is the short cut.

Gracias por haber tomado el tiempo de responder.

HAAAA!!!

While I do speak a number of languages, German isn't a strong one for me. Why would you not put "English" in caps, though, yet put a cap in " 'Cause" where there isn't one needed in any English, Romanic nor (I would infer) Germanic language?
