Becks - just thinking of either a short speed run or even a two mile walk tomorrow. Just something to keep moving. Kinda feel bad just sitting around. Tried a knee brace but worry about it rubbing the skin off on race day.
Don't plan on breaking my personal best anyway. Pretty hilly course as I understand. Never done Nashville before. |

Nope. My knee is really still sort of bothering me from the ski trip. I never gave it much chance to rest and, with a couple of long runs, pounded it back to really hurting.
Just trying to keep it iced down now is about the best I can do with it coming up so quickly. No sense running now as I think I'll have a better chance if I just relax....then blow it out again on race day! HAAAA!!! Texting riding no handed. Too funny.
My favorite is when I see just about everyone at 7:45 in the morning crossing the street (in this VERY little town) talking on the phone. I HAVE to see them because we have to stop for them in the crosswalks by law here. I mean, who the heck are they calling? Tokoyo? Checking their stocks, perhaps?
I guarantee, if I am up at that hour not a SOUL will want to hear from me. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:18:12 AM) | | Becks wrote: | | LMAO!
