Some wonderful posts by some solid, regular members! Great insights!! I have often wondered aloud what the guys would think, should they happen upon some of the garbage people post on this Board. It is literally embarrassing. It demeans ALL of us and I think Murray knows that. He does what he can given that he is just one person and has MANY other things to do. We (the REGULARS of this site) are responsible for seeing to it that things are done and said in a manner that is consistent with the integrity and decency this place deserves. I understand that it is a ROCK band's website. I get that. But there is still a certain sense of decorum that we ALL should observe. We cannot "control" everyone.  We should not! We cannot legislate decency and good manners. All we can do is hang together and speak with ONE voice. THAT is when Murray hears us loud and clear!

As for the cyber-troll and his Maiden Thread, he is a LIAR.  By his own words, he condemns himself, over and over. NO intelligent, honest, friendly, sincere person would stay where they are NOT wanted and refuse to get along. He blatantly declares that he is "here to stay", which only serves to show that he WANTS to antagonize. He is not a "true fan". He does NOT want to have a "serious" discussion. He wants to start trouble, plain and simple. Were this not the case, he would have; A)  Tried to be friendly OR B) Left the site. He refuses to do either because it does not fit his agenda, which is to agitate. This is so simple and obvious that it is almost ridiculous to even have to say it. He blatantly misrepresents himself and is a liar. Period.

As we have in the past, we will get through this and emerge better for it. This "ignore" feature is a wonderful thing but it is really not necessary. There should be NO reason to ignore anyone here!  We should embrace all and, in turn, they should come here in the spirit of friendship and honesty that we all share with one another. There are MANY of us that have come here and had trouble in the beginning, myself included. But, we rise above it. We apologize for our transgressions and we strive to be better members. To get along. To share. And most of all, to make friends. Anything less is just unacceptable.
