Hey everyone. Can anyone help me please. I've been trying to become a member of Rob's forums for a while now. I've already reg. 2 different names & e-mail addresses with no response back. I've sent many e-mails, again with no response. I had a friend sign up the same day I tried the first time & she got an e-mail within 2 days. Anyone have any idea what I need to do please send me a PM. Thanks for any help.

It is with much regret that I will not be with you this summer. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your concerns about my health. Please rest assured that I am O.K.
There has been an ongoing breakdown in working relationship between myself, elements of the band, and the band's management for some time.
Therefore I have decided to step down rather than to tour with negative sentiments as I feel that this would be a deception to you, our cherished fans.
However I would urge you to please support the Priest as I have no doubt that it will be a show not to be missed.

I've only missed one tour since "Point of Entry" so I'm sure I'll see this one also.
I don't know how I'll be able to enjoy it though. Seeing someone else doing K.K.'s
guitar work along with the sadness of knowing that this is it will definitely dampen
my enthusiasm. The analogy may be a little much but to me it will be like going to
a funeral. After all, these guys have been a part of my life for over 30 years. I've
been expecting this for a decade now. It had to happen eventually.
Thanks guys, the ride has been awesome.
Much great music, many great memories. One great band.

We are going too Vail. We just had to break the bad news to our 2 sons and tell them that they wouldn't be seeing KK Downing play..... ever...... I am going so that I can say goodbye to Rob, Glenn, Ian and Scott and thank them for EVERYTHING.

You'd be wrong about that Bud. Rob stopped drinking and doing drugs in 1986. This was 1988 just before the Ram It Down Tour. This was the fun loving, joking Rob that I very much miss these days.....

Yes in the earlier days, this vid is from circa 1988, at which point Rob had been clean and sober for two years. As far as I've heard, he's always been fairly hyperactive lol.

Yeah, it truly does! When I originally sent out that e-mail, I was thinking that he probably replies in pretty much the same way that he did now. But after I read on the Judas Priest Shrine that it's administrator had to remove bootleg MP3's from his site after Rob's attorney demanded so, I do admit having been a little scared that it could've been the fate of my site, too. But all's well now, and it does give me little more energy to work on the site when I know that KK himself is aware of it.
Of course, being reassured that new material is being worked on also made me very happy!

Woooo, got my questions answered by KK! I had been waiting for this day ever since I sent that e-mail. Of course I asked about bootlegs, being fairly active on that scene, and was pleased to see that he isn't against them (or at least that's the way I interpreted it): if he would've been against them, I probably would've quit my bootleg site immediately because I don't want to take part in something that my idols dislike.
I also asked him about any officially recorded material that's never been released, and he said that there might be some extra footage in a vault somewhere, although it's still very uncertain if they'll ever release it.
