Hang in there, you two! It'll all calm down eventually, hopefully soon.
If not, then come to Cali. The heat is only slightly annoying, at best, and there's little to no humidity.

NO! Too friggin' hot to do anything outside here. About 100 degrees (F) right now and looking at 105 F of pure heat for the next couple of days. You don't even want to know what the "feels like" temps are hitting. No dry heat here. I think I am going ot work the rest of the week in a speedo and flipflops.
I knew I should have gotten that bikini wax last week. Ah well. Folks at work will just have to deal with it.

Oh, yeah! You guys are in winter now. How cold does it get overthere?
It's getting warmer and warmer here in CA with each day that passes by. Kinda sad that the June Gloom that we usually get at this time of year didn't last very long.
Did you look at the new shirts in the online JP store? The Painkiller one looks pretty cool.

Queensryche Part Ways With Geoff Tate, Name Todd La Torre New Singer
After recent rumblings of tension and rumored incidents, veteran rockers Queensryche have parted ways with singer Geoff Tate. They’ve announced that Crimson Glory’s Todd La Torre is their new singer and have put their current tour dates on hold while they work on revised routing.
Queensryche drummer and band founder Scott Rockenfield explains the split. “Over the past few months, there have been growing creative differences within Queensryche. We want our fans to know that we hoped to find a common resolution, but in the end parting ways with Geoff was the best way for everyone to move forward in a positive direction. We wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavors. We can’t wait to bring Queensryche to our fans with Todd behind the microphon
The new lineup already played two shows in Seattle under the name Rising West before Tate’s exit was official. The now former lead singer had to play as a solo artist when opening for the Scorpions last week in Utah after the rest of the band withdrew from the show. He already had solo acoustic shows planned for the summer along with a new solo album.
Replacing any vocalist is a big risk, especially when it is somebody as iconic as Tate, who had been in Queensryche since 1982 and was the voice behind all their hits. However, perhaps it’s one of those situations where both the band and Tate will end up better off in the long run.

I heard it on the Boneyard (sorry...OZZY'S Boneyard) last night but only caught half the announcement. Even came home looking for news on the internet.
Thanks for the post. Best I could find last night was that the band was reforming without Tate! Same as kicking him out, IMO.

lol. Well their were my brother and sister, and im the dumb one out of them so yes for once I wanted to be the smarter one. Plus it did make me laugh when they thought they knew metal. Its part of what siblings do I guess

Then why did you make an argument with non-metalheads about metal's origins? Of course they're not gonna understand or know about it, especially if they don't care for it. Did you do it to make yourself look/feel smart? For shits and giggles? How adorable.

Praise Zeus some people understand. The funny thing is that I had that argument with non metal heads which know nothing about metal. One does not simply try and be smart about metal if they don't know jack about it. I told them metal came from blues but they said the blues influenced the Beatles and the beatles influenced metal. In the end I just walked away because they were making themselves look really stupid.
