After this new album, they changed their style again, Rob is admirable, he can circumvent with negative critics  and with "fans" like you!

I express only his feelings, decisions, meanings and purposes, we know what he feel and think, in his wonderful soul.
He don´t like these ever present critics about him and his music, he disdained to notice them!!!!!!

Rob do what he wants, he would ignore you, because he´s not a quitter, he can behave himself and he can cannot compare with you!!!

It were a great show, this music is on a higher level, therefore you don´t like it…

Judas Priest is talking only positive about Nostradamus and about realizing the show Nostradamus!
It takes a long time, to make an album like this phenomenal masterwork!
Robert Williams of Metal-Rules.com conducted an interview with Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing of Judas Priest in San Antonio, Texas. August 2008

My topic is only a suggestion and idea of Rob and Glenn! I thought to myself what a fantastic plan of these guys.

I think a real fan should promote this Opera, of course only if the fan likes this album, otherwise it´s never ever be possible to bring this extravagant Opera on stage!

The last word is not spoken, the management will have the last word and they will know already, what is good for their business or not, you can´t determine this decision, it´s up to the band.

I respect all the plans of Rob and Glenn and I want that they do and realize what they want to do!

You must not love this album, but I hate fans when they say it´s shit or something like that!!!!!!!!!!! Only the band decides, not you. I wanted only to reopen the plan and the idea of Rob and Glenn, only they are licensed for their productions, nobody else!

We need many sponsors, a big promotion and of course fans, for this show!

Many great musicals were produced in the past, but the problem is, for the classic fans is Heavy Metal to hard and for the Heavy Metal fans is Nostradamus to soft!

I respect all the songs, meanings and decisions of Judas Priest and Rob Halford, because I have absolutely their meanings, the will decide the right things, in the right time. I´m sure!

I would like to realize this Opera on stage, but if they don´t want to realize it, it doesn´t matter, I´m absolutely sure, they have reasons for it!

I´m so enthusiastic and I love this band very much!

I would like to convince every fan to achieve this plan!

You don´t have to go to this show and you don´t have to hear this album, if you don´t like it!

BUT NOBODY CAN´T STIR ME FROM MY RESOLVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glenn Tipton said: Each album have a different character, it is really a kind of stretched over the potential of Heavy Metal music. Every album has a separate identify and have a lot of impressions, it is successful.

The band wants to give on every album their best. It is an advanced music and it makes him feel free. Glenn always tries to expand the music.

Glenn said:  “We are always expanding, we use to try anything, some was scared about to experiment and many use the formal work, maybe they afraid for their career, we try to do and we attempt anything, to give metal more possibilities, we have open the door for a lot of other bands, we creating more room to working. “ The kids accepted the band plays in every tour the same guitar solos, that´s not right, Glenn said they have in every show other guitar solos, so he has fun on tour to improvise something.

Reporters ask all the time the same silly questions about the other styles. Rob can´t hear this anymore, that´s why he gives the microphone to Glenn. Glenn replies most of the questions. I don´t understand that some fans don´t respect the very hard work of Nostradamus! They didn´t understand what really good music is. It should be more supported! The interviewers talking all the time about the differences between the albums, instead of the high quality! I like the differences; it would be boring, if one song is like the other songs.

Glenn and Rob open the doors for more sophisticated, unadulterated and very British music with much creativity, in this worldwide spectrum of music.

Metal becomes more intellectually, if the lyrics and the music are written and composed on a higher level. Nostradamus is the greatest and the most fabulous work ever.

If we have only short versions of this album, the music would lose the strong intense and the powerful, mystery might which the album have. Rob choose for every album the best songs and lyrics, Rob and Glenn needs much time to realize an album like Nostradamus, otherwise it wouldn´t be so fantastic.

Rob Halford has the best sound of his voice now, he can´t reach anymore the highest parts of his songs, but he has a full-blown voice now!  He has the best voice of all time now.

[Trixi] Thursday, May 09, 2013 6:55:08 AM
Shut up, I have no time for your childish messages and you have intermission now and for all time, I want to continue! This side is not for your silly messages, only for Nostradamus, Judas Priest and their fans!

Nostradamus it´s an advanced music, Heavy Metal makes him feel alive, it´s a combination between rock and classic, it isn´t a hit album. Glenn didn´t all the time things like Nostradamus, it is an enormous, huge experience of music, it gives me more power than anything else!

If you don´t have the ambition and the ability to fall into this dreamy, fascinated, incredible, terrifically, fantastically and imaginative kind of music, it´s a great pity, I´ll regret this.

I don´t want to hear only shrieking and grunt in a music. The content is much better than the cover.

You don´t try to hear this music, you must feel it deep inside your heart, this were the correct way to listen this artful music. You must go involved with this music. Rob said in the interview 1991, he will make something special in the year 2000 and this is happened, they are produced a worthwhile, an excellent and a brilliant album!

It tells a long story with sound, it´s an absolutely, sophisticated masterwork in his life and in the history of Heavy Metal, in the history of music as well! If you ever hear a classic song under 5 minutes, it isn´t possible, the really good classic songs are longer.

All I want is to defence the decisions of the band and what Rob Halford and Glenn Tipton decided! Rob Halford said maybe there´s a Nostradamus 2, maybe there is a show in an Opera House and he said never ever says never!

There must be a big and great finish, if the band one day retires! You can feel the soul of Nostradamus, if you hear this music. Glenn and Rob use to work very close together. Glenn said, he tries to make every album a little different and he wants to experiment. I think some people haven´t understanding the sense and meaning of this album and of the band, most of the fans love this album, but they don´t want to quarrel about this! Judas Priest is also beyond reproach! It is an advantage!

Rob said it is a concept album; I have never done it before. The longer the songs get, so much the better and artful they are. I can feel it deep inside and it burns in my heart! I´m really addicted to Judas Priest and I just can´t get enough!

Rob said I still have the passion, enthusiasm and energy for Heavy Metal!

Glenn said it is light, shadow, drama and emotion!

Kenny said it is a musical experience! All these guys are very proud of this realizing!

I asked myself, who bought all the Nostradamus albums, if they have no fans for it?????

I still never ever want to speak for all people and I will respect other polite, useful and sensible meanings about this! So long, Trixie

Yes I´m a BIGOT, only to Judas Priest and I´m very proud of it! But I hate all forms of racism and discriminations!

There are millions of Judas Priest fans, over 300 members on this FAN-side, only 5 “fans” which sending every time silly messages! Judas Priest won´t respect your stupid messages, you don´t have to taint this golden sides of Judas Priest!

Ozzy Osbourne would say F-ck you, if you don´t respect him! Where are your great postings? I think you haven´t never ever written things like this!

I´ve never ever said you must have a good meaning about this album, or you must go to this show, but if every fan is just like you the band were already retired! You are definitely not a real fan!

I don´t like to answer your questions anymore. In the future, you write to my bottom, unfortunately I can´t use them as toilet paper.

You are too coward to send something of your shit to the Priest, Judas Priest can relinquish of you, all mouth and no trousers! Don´t ruin these sides!!!!!!!!!!!  You are against everybody and everything, when I have time, I will regret you!

Rob and Glenn are very self – confident, they will decide things in the right time!

Rob wanted to do other things and when he came back, he had the full power to start with Judas Priest again.

Glenn said:” We always try to give our audience, we feel what they want. ”

Rob loves words; he is a very good lyricist as well, he soaks every word up! I soak every song, sound scream and tone up.

I don´t know, what´s going on with me when I´m listening this kind of music, but I don´t want to miss this ecstasy, it is a climax from the beginning to the end of a song. Rob has so much enthusiasm and creativity! He composed an album with so much power and intense! The music transmitted me so awesome feelings, I´ll never want to miss it.

If Turbo Lover isn´t a great song, why they play this song in every show? The voting`s are not all, but the fans give a feedback and the band decided things alone, on their own.

Rob`s voice must fits to the songs and a long and great album takes much time. Not every album has the same success. The different changes about other styles of music are in the development of the band very important. All the best and songs are over 3 minutes. There`s a lot of hard melodic songs, they are even better than the short versions; you can`t put long works into short songs. The band can show the advantage and make the feature of these artful songs, if their songs are longer, the full album becomes more intellectuality!

Rob has still the power, the enthusiasm and the energy. Glenn said, it´s light, shadow, drama, melody and emotions. Kenny said; it is a musical experience. Rob said:   ”We use to try anything. We are all taking risks and chances, it`s still now.

Interesting. You accuse me of criticizing you yet you seem to appreciate the fact that the word "bigot" has pejorative and rather "charged" connotation in English.

Fine. Be a bigot from now on. Keep on quoting yourself. Personally, I think it makes you look like a fool. To each their own. Rave away.

While you are quoting yourself again, Trix, be careful of using a thesaurus too much.

Definition of BIGOT

: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance

I don´t want to lose any thought and all I want is to enjoy the enthusiasm of Judas Priest, they have the power, the might, the inspiration to make every album to a highlight! I only want to describe my feelings. Every band has their own style and the band is interested about our meanings.
I would like to convince everybody for this fantastic plan and to bring it forward. The inspiration and the creativity must flow, nobody can stop this process.
The lyrics were aggressive and ambiguous in the past, but nowadays they tells us more stories, created in his mind; about himself, fantasies and mystical stories, Rob enjoys it. This is important and damned good, for instance “Lochness”, you can feel the powerful and mystical monster from the lake and you can feel the mysterious and Celtic highlands, if you hear this song.
I love Rob Halford not only as a star and Metal God, also as a human personality!

Nostradamus might turn Rob Halford on! He sings, at the last video I have sent, I see you, I feel you, I hear you… Rob is fascinated of Nostradamus!

It´s amazing two powerful and strong souls united on one album,it is unique, it´s too much for me, every time I hear this powerful work, it blows me away!

It is full of enthusiasm, sacrifice, commitment, endurance and love to him; you can feel it in every single tone and sigh of Rob. I get so awesome when I hear this mightful album Nostradamus. On the end he talks in French, it´s great. His creativity flows, it´s so amazing!

I don´t give up, one day it will be happened, although the other albums will be produced, this work shouldn´t be forgotten in every metal heart! I would like support the fantastic idea. Glenn and Rob have spoken about their plans and about realizing. We must respect this work, because it is a phenomenal masterwork. The music and voice from him is so sophisticated like classic, the album stand out against other works. No other band is like Judas Priest, they are the one and only!

They are the grandmasters of Heavy Metal and it is perfection in every detail!

Have a look of all the latest interviews; you can hear the meaning about this of Rob and Glenn, they had this fabulous idea. Rob said maybe there`s a Nostradamus 2 and it will performed ,maybe in the Opera House of Vienna, it is a great idea, because my son performed there in many operas and at the Vienna  Opera Ball, it was great! Rob said never say, never!

Rob and Glenn have fun to experiment, they give Heavy Metal more possibilities and created more room  to work on different sounds and styles, for example The Rage, great lyrics!  Rob said in an interview: It sounds absurd, but it works, it´s great!

Downing back, because he´s the most perfect guitar player in the world! Fans give a feedback, so I think the management doesn´t respect one voting, but maybe it will influence some decisions.

Thought for some reason you were hinting that every Priest album was some type of game changer,my bad on that one....And I forgot to add in there that I think these current Saxon LPs are just as good as anything Priest has done after 1990's Painkiller album, not as good as anything Priest has ever done....

You did mention that Saxon had  "No game changing albums"....no they don't....so what of it? So what?

Also, kodos to you for checkin out Ghost(B.C.) and its not your thing thats cool, but as for the so called silly satanic writting you claim,I chose to believe otherwise,I don't think there is anything funny about the band's song writting at all. And another thing that cracks me up is that you say they have "gimmick" costumes on stage...yes they are a "gimmick" what isn't?

They really don't look that different then Rob Halford on the Nostradamus tour wearing a cloak/robe with the Priest sign/staff....its "silly" that you don't see the similarities lol. Ghost is an elite new (not "nu") heavy metal band, thier songs are brilliant and remind me of early Mercyful Fate when I first started listening to MF in 1984(I don't like Mercyful Fate after 1984).  Ghost also covers I'm A Marrionette by awkwardly "Abba" and pulls it off with ease,as well as Here Comes The Sun,the best cover of the Beatles track I have ever heard thats for sure.

I never said Angel was a game changer, chief, so can't really ansewr that question for you. I did ask why you consider Saxon albums innovative. Actually you said they were "as innovative as any judas priest album"(that's huge), so please explain because I totally disagree with that. Never said other bands were expected to have a "wow" album every 2 years either. Not sure where you are reading all this unless I'm just forgetting something I wrote, that's very possible,(I am getting older and on the declin just like the old declining judas priest , as mentioned multiple times in here by mushroomhead fan) if so please correct me. I did give Ghost a listen and it sounds really old to me but I like that a lot. I like the vocals because they are clear and melodic. The nice rythum guitars remind me of old judas priest (gues I should say young) sad wings and stained class IMO which is excellent. The deal breaker for me though is the satanic theme throughout the albun and gimmick costumes on stage,(although the stage show has nothing to do with listening to the album) very annoying IMO though, so I have to give it a thumbs down due to the silly satanic song writing.

Completely agree. Painkiller kicked major ass. About all we old-school metal fans can want, IMO. You all know that I am a fan of Nostra but certainly don't see that spawning any new bands. Rap + Metal to me was a completely natural mix. Then again, that comes from a Detroit boy. Mixes better than rap (and you know I mean OLD school rap) and country. Bleah.

Now the French doing Metal. There is a true blend! LOL! Most think Anthrax did the original tune....TRUST, baby!

Heck, Painkiller wasnt game changing either.  to get priest changing the game, head back to the 70's or maybe 80 with British steel.  other than that no games were changed but they still kicked ass.  heck I love AOR, but I know that by itself changed nothing.  I dont see nost starting any new metal trends.  I dont know if I like most of the new metal, but these "trends" sure as fuck dont come from the priest.

Of course not. Neither did I quote you nor say that you did. I know that you've never been there and, while I have been there hundreds of times, even I said that I couldn't find the actual capacity of Harpos online very easily.

It is a freakin' dive. Boots stick to the floor and people have been known to be shot and stabbed in the parking lot (I park on the street). Just had to set the record straight as you guys have been bringing it up, especially in terms of numbers. As HB said, if we were to go by numbers alone, even Bieber would be followers of PSY and "Gangnam Style" (ooooh, sexy lady, op op).

Gotta also throw in with Stained on the argument (no surprise there). Priest CHANGED metal in a major way. Unabashedly metal. Wish we could ask Dimebag (RIP) but even he wore the JP razor blade. Insane Clown Posse, GWAR, Mushroomhead, hell, half the bands currently playing at Harpos didn't revolutionize metal as did Priest. They may do what they do well, but hardly had the impact of Priest.

@ J.D. - Thanks, bro. Will give them a listen.

To those talking about Harpos. I am sitting here laughing as I KNOW I am the only one with the luxury of having called it "my local bar" for some 20 years of life. 24,000? Hell, Harpos is a big old-school movie theater that has had all the seats taken out. 10 foot stage and they cram people in by taking out tables and chairs. Indeed, it is a metal Mecca and has been one ever since I can remember. However, even though Detroit has not been one to adhere to fire laws, you are speaking about thousand(s) - MAX, not 10s of thousands, in that place. I tried to find an actual stated capacity online with no luck. Just a big, seatless movie theater with no balcony, though. You can do the math.

There ya go. Carry on.

I know it's easy to see something as good through rose colored glasses, that's just how it is. You seem to think saxon is so innovative ... I'd like to know how? Yes their excellent metal compared to something like the trival mushroomhead-slipknot and other new matal bands ,but what are some of their game changing albums? Has any of those albums set a new standard for metal? No.

judas priest were game changers with albums like Sad wings, British Steel, Screaming for vengeance ect.

J.D.. I did listen to some of that CD. It's an hour and fifteen minutes long and I'll be honest I didn't want to spend that much time in front of the computer.
I did listen to the first 25 minutes so I would feel as though I could give an accurate assessment of what I thought.
First off I'll say that it was interesting enough that I will go back and listen to more of it. I can't give it a toally positive review but I won't say anything negative.
I thought the vocalist could be a little better. I liked his voice at times but overall I didn't think he was that great. There was some really good musicianship
in the guitar playing and I thought they were blending the whole metal opera thing quite well. Around the ten minute mark it got a little strange on me with the
narration but I liked the instrumental afterwards. "Through The Ring Of Fire" was really cool, pretty heavy. It got a little strange again about half way through
but I like the way they finished it up. This probably isn't the type of music that I would normally listen to but if I was out or they were opening for someone I
could listen to it. Probably not a great review but that's what I got.

I have a question for you. I remember awhile back you posting a Priest tribute band or vocalist that you thought would have been better for priest than Ripper.
I can't remember who it was. James Rivera maybe??  I think he's from your part of the country. If so I have some videos I took that I will post for you. Let me know.

That's not quite how I meant that but I really don't want to appear to be bashing Priest and get started with that whole thing again.
Stained ... is going back and forth and I don't think he even knows what his own gripe is. I figured I would post because
I think he's criticizing and or telling people how they should or shouldn't feel about Priest and what they should or shouldn't
say about Priest and I believe you should have the right to feel and  say whatever you want to about them negative or positive if
you believe it is warranted. Coming here just to trash them with no real basis maybe not but otherwise say what you feel.
He tried to entice me with the Slipknot/otherband comment and mentioned how trivial they are. My point is that trivial to him may
not be trivial to others as evidenced by the crowds. I never said in the past or now that any of these bands were ever better than
or more important or more innovative or more anything than Priest was. I only say repeatedly that I like modern metal and many forms
of it and if Priest can't put out something of quality then I'm OK with it because I can handle and enjoy what's out there.
Any comments I make about their age or their not being able to do what they did is not me trying to bash them either it is a fact of life.
I still am holding out hope that they can deliver a quality Priest beast and I will purchase whatever they release with those hopes in mind
but I don't think about it too much because of how long they have been claiming to have been working on it. If it comes out great, if not I don't care.
I'm tired of waiting.

White trash, if you want one more band besides the innovative Saxon, check out the swedish primitive styled heavy metal band "Ghost". They arrived on the scene in 2010,put out thier masterpiece debut "Opus Eponymous" in 2011 and now have thier sophmore lp "Infestissum" out in 2weeks which is also another master piece. This is metal with 70s influences, this is Not an alternative band, they obviously have a huge early 80s Mercyful Fate influence as well,a band Im quite shocked Budred hasnt seen live.

Budred, you and Guido seem to check out metal albums and listen to alot of music, check out Virgin Steele "The House Of Atreus Act 1" (1999) there are 22 tracks and only 2 are dull...#12 & 21 the other 20 are excellent. Singer David Defeis plays all piano,keyboards....its the only "metal opera" I like, its about the destruction of Troy (Greece)...song writting is brilliant.
