I think it was a step towards a more modern metal sound and I saw nothing wrong with that. I liked it.
I think it has some of their heaviest music. To each his own though.

These 10 songs in a freaking row I "HATE". I've hated these 10 tracks for 10 years now HAHA! I still can't get into them,I'm not trying to change your mind as there is shit I think is cool that you sit back and think "what is JD smoking"? So I know it goes both ways Budred,I just "wish" I liked the album,but alls I get out of it is the first 3 songs.
And I agree with Becks on Starbreaker......Jimmy have you been dipping into my pot stash? 
Angel Of Retribution is not the best but to me is Priest's most underrated LP....
